The Gazillion Bubble Show is the newest afternoon show to occupy the Steve Wyrick Theater in the Magic Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Presented by Fan Yang, holder of 15 world records for bubbles(including largest bubble and most people in a bubble), it is a 90 minute bubble extravaganza that is sure to delight little ones. Us adults(those of you who will read this) may not be so entranced unless you’re a parent and your child goes on stage. The theater itself is small enough(and the show is still new enough) that it is very easy to get a seat in the first few rows. Bubbles mostly occupy the stage(from very small to 15 feet long, but in the first few rows you will get some bubble action. He brings up 4 kids to put them inside a bubble early in the show and later on asks another girl to come up for a sweet story about his niece not getting any snow in her home in Hawaii(lets just say he makes it snow with bubbles). Smoke and lasers are a large part of the show that make it a bit more entertaining than just simple bubble blowing. Yang makes the show a little more endearing as he speaks of his life growing up. However, compared to the other showman on the same stage later in the night, he does not have as much of a connection with the audience. The kids, yes, but the adults, not so much. I would recommend this show if you have children or have received free tickets through . Otherwise, for the $ 40 – 60 you’d spend on this, save it for Steve Wyrick or half-price Cirque tickets.
