Reviews exist for a reason… many times, they’re right. In this case, definitely right. likely should’ve avoided. We hadn’t bought tickets at Encore’s Beach Club in advance, so by the time we looked into them, they were way too overpriced. We started scanning around for other options, and SLS’ pool party seemed our best alternative. The reviews weren’t great, but my husband and our friends had never been to a pool party, and wanted to experience that, rather than just go to the Wynn’s regular(non-party) pool. Upon arrival, we were told it’d be $ 200 for the four of to get in — this would secure us a lounge area for the four of us, as well as that money would all go to drinks(aka, $ 200 worth of alcohol). Compared to other clubs that charged a steep price to get in + then paying for drinks, this seemed like a good deal. Except as we finished, we realized they charged a $ 75 service charge, so it was really closer to $ 300. No upfront notice was given for this charge! I wouldn’t go back on that alone. DJ –Was fine, played lots of popular music. Didn’t spin anything particularly unique or original. Unfortunately, our area given to us was immediately underneath the speaker, so you can imagine, lots of screaming to each other and feeling deaf! Drinks –They ordered two pitchers of drinks — a tequila-based mixed drink and a mojito pitcher. I asked for a non-alcoholic mojito(just a cup, not a pitcher, since I don’t drink), and the waitress looked at me like I had five heads. Everyone said the drinks tasted watered-down and like they weren’t made from the most quality alcohol. Service –This was fine but not attentive. Our waitress looked quite hardened like she’d had a rough go of it. We usually had to flag her down to get service, despite it seeming like they had a lot of waitresses for the amount of guests. Ambiance –The pool was packed with people. It wasn’t the classiest-looking crowd. I appreciated the umbrella over our area, as the sun was really beating down hard at times. I’ve definitely been to better pool parties. We certainly wouldn’t go back to this one for multiple reasons. Next time we’d plan in advance to go to Encore.

I went in on a Saturday afternoon. Pool wasn’t too crowded. Water was clean and cool. Music wasn’t loud but good. I like the venue a lot. It’s small but the crowd isn’t too rambunctious so it is manageable! Compared to Wet Republic, this is a much tamer option. Would recommend!

Came to pool party here over Memorial Day Weekend. Flo-Rida, DJ Drama, Young Thug and Yo Gotti all hit the stage. Party was lit. They have 2 separate pools divided by a square bar in the middle. Then they have a small area right in front of the stage.

This is a terrible place. I highly recommend not coming here. First off, compared to other pool parties in Vegas, this place is tiny. This is due to design flaw: The pool is dissected in the middle by a bar, and this is the only bar at the venue, Hence, that bar is always packed, so you can’t get drinks and risk falling into the water. Secondly, the décor sucks. Just random cabanas and the pool is set in the middle of the first floor between two maintenance rooms. No effort to think of a theme or décor at all. Third, I came here to see Flo Rida, and he came out for 15 min, did three songs, and left. What a waste of my time and money! This place is Garbage! I would recommend Marquee dayclub, Wet Republic, or the beautiful well-decorated Hard Rock Rehab over this place for sure.

Had a great time here! We got a cabana last Sunday and we had a great time. The staff was VERY attentive! The service was excellent! Amber was our hostess /waitress /whatever you want to call her and she was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Aside from her amazing service she was very down to earth and came and danced with us a little bit too! She made us feel very welcome and was able to answer any and every question that we had. If we asked her for anything, we had it in mere moments! All other staff members were great too! Very attentive, and helpful! We went back the following day just to lay out by the pool and Amber came over and said hi to us. Although we weren’t sitting in her section, she came over and took our drink order right away, got us waters, and helped us correct a food issue that came up. Thank you Amber and the rest of the staff at Foxtail! Can’t wait to come back!

Highly recommend! Great afternoon! Our cocktail server Casey was absolutely AMAZING and gave us the most wonderful service we ever could have had in Las Vegas. She constantly had a smile and was always there when we needed her. It also helped that we had a cabana right next to the pool with shade AND sun. Our drinks were flowing and our food kept coming. We felt spoiled all day and our Bachelorette was the happiest she ever could have been. Also, special shout out to Wilson, Casey’s assistant for being fabulous and keeping our cabana beautiful throughout the day. THANKYOUSLS for the best day!

A very comfy and elegant pool area! I felt a sense of total ease and tranquility here. Although I hadn’t experienced any of the deejays nor party-style poolside events, I did love the décor and the great customer service. Most events are during weekends but weekdays are kind of quiet and no –eventful. I was allowed to carry in a salad which I had bought inside of the hotel and I liked that. The bar does have its own food and drink menu. The few tropical cocktails I ordered were very tasty with just the right amount of fruitiness and ice. Towels were large and lush and seating & lounge chairs ample. One drawback: Shower on the south end of the pool area was defunct. Otherwise, I regretted having to leave.

Given the fact that this hotel is relatively new, I expected more. We went on a Sunday pool«party» and were surprised by how empty this place was. One of the promoters got us in for free and gave us tickets for free drinks! That was awesome, and we enjoyed it. Kept wondering why was that place not packed… like something was wrong lol

Great environment! Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and a 32oz mojito drink, prices were a lil bit on the high on the drink and you only get 3oz of liquor in it which blows my mind, should be at least 4! Pool opens at 9:30 and I came around 12 and pretty much all the tables and chairs were taken… Bummer. I had to get a chair in the water and water comes through the whole time.

The pool area is nice enough, the DJ is very good but the part that’s disappointing is the complete lack of ‘free’ lounge chairs. The real estate is at a serious minimum & its overwhelmed with high end cabanas with a steep minimum. Its silly to me there are zero lounges reserved for paying hotel guests. We are staying at the hotel, and have paid for our rooms only to come outside and be told it’s a $ 250 minimum or you have to lay on the concrete. That’s just despicable & really unfair to your loyal, repeat, paying guests. We have stayed/dined multiple times at the Beverly Hill SLS and the overall experience and customer service was far superior. Honestly, not sure we’ll be back especially after having a fairly negative experience at the Vegas SLS on my birthday weekend(of all times).

«So when you see me look the other way «‘Cause – oh, oh – lately all I do is play «All the glasses in the world say, ‘Come with me…’» — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – — — — — — — — – I have been here a few times. Check the check-ins. Flag it anyway because we all know you’re a flagging troll. Each and every time I have patronised or tried to patronise this establishment I have had problems. Each and every time. Each and every time. Frankly, I am tired of it. After the first couple of times, I figured that I would just give up. I am no quitter; however, this Foxtail Pool Club(FPC) is a true, bonafide, monumental failure. Therefore, it could be argued that the patron is not the one giving up … it’s FPC which is not even worthy of one’s effort in parking and walking to its doors. Just Say No to FPC. When Matt & Kim announced their Las Vegas stop, it was unfortunate that the FPC would play host for it. I knew there would be problems. I just knew it. On that date, it was windy. It was very windy. So, FPC cancelled the show. They cancelled it after M&K fans had waited for hours outside. Hours. They cancelled it and did not announce it to anyone. Let me repeat that: They cancelled it and left paying patrons — some of which had travelled from other U.S. states — outside with no update on anything. Social media platforms were the first to alert those queuing outside and it was not until FPC or SLS staff were confronted that they even informed anyone. In the meantime, several miles away on the same World Famous Las Vegas Strip — and also coincidentally a pool show — a concert went on as scheduled. I know because I called to see if it was still taking place«rain or shine» like outdoor shows are supposed to(they said yes) and I also attended it. It was a great show and the wind was not a problem(there was no rain). For the kickoff Grills & Guitars event(also LIB), they outdid themselves with their preposterous nightclub tactics and queue antics of not letting anyone in at the time doors were scheduled for, then allowing a mere trickle in order to manufacture a monumental, unnecessary queue that stretched and swung around the SLS floor and stairs, unto more floor and nearly reaching the east garage door. Why? Who knows. They’re a one-star establishment, that is why. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – — — — — — — — – Rating: One-star, «Eek! Methinks not.»(It will be closed within the year.)

We had a potentially bad experience that turned out GREAT thanks to and crew. I had bought a couch online via electrostub. I asked the concierge about how easy it would be to get in and she pointed me to a promoter named Eddy. He told me to get the tickets refunded and instead get on his guest list. I knew this was BS but wanted to be sure. Next morning I walked up to the Foxtail Pool Club line and asked Drew about it. He assured us that yes indeed our online purchase was legit(as it should be) and we’d be covered. When we came back to enter, his boss also apologized for the experience and let us know that we would be taken care of. Service is truly king here at Foxtail. At our spot inside, Alana and Rob were very attentive and even let us know when we were getting close to our minimum spend. We seriously got the treatment. Lesson: DONOTGOTOPROMOTERS. It’s obvious they have to meet quotas on getting patrons in. DOVIPSERVICES(and definitely hit up Drew) Yes you can get in free if you wait in line on a promoters guest list but cmon dude you are in Vegas. Pay ~$ 120 and get a top notch Vegas experience.

Special Events! The communication between Security, Host, Managers and Will Call always seems to be very unorganized! A new more efficient(entry system) needs to be put in place to ensure 100% Guest Satisfaction and long entry wait times. Also, the re-entry door from the Casino needs to be addressed as well! You shouldn’t have to wait in line twice after already having a re-entry stamp! It should be quick and easy! It’s unnecessary and causes line drama. The Pool is Beautiful and Spacious! The Special Events and Concerts are Awesome! There are plenty of Metro Police /Casino Security Officers, on scene in case of an Emergency! The Sound, Lights and Celebrity Guest Appearances are Excellent! Overall, I would recommend checking out the SLS Foxtail Pool Events! You won’t be disappointed! Two Thumbs Up!

It was 106* today and the water was perfect. We spent the day in a cabana but there were many other shady spots available. The scene was night and day from Sunday to Monday, with Monday being the scene for me. Quiet time to chill and read with lots of food and drink. Over the course of the day we had the fruit plate, BBQ chicken satay, ahi poke, gelato, SLS burger and Vegan burger platter. All were delicious and the husband really raved about the ahi and chips, the portion being very generous for the price. All the drinks were yummy and definitely on the strong side. Our first server didn’t seem thrilled to be at work but the person helping us all afternoon was helpful and friendly.

Bring your floaties! I came here last weekend for the first of many, «Road to Life is Beautiful» concert series. I’m not a huge fan of Matisyahu, but I wanted to check out the pool and have a few cocktails with friends. This place seems to vary from the loud DJ pumping pool party scene to a mellow cocktail soaked nap in the sun. Check the website before you arrive to make sure the vibe is right for you and your party. This night the vibe moved at the pace of reggae, oddly I be into it mon! This pool is broken in two wading pools with a bar in the middle. You will have to get out of the pool to get a new drink, but I would use this chance to pee in the toilet instead of constantly peeing in the public swimming hole. There’s plenty of cabanas for rent and an abundance of free lounge chairs for you to relax on — bonus this pool gets tons of sunlight from the mid-morning all the way to about 6pm. If there’s a DJ playing, you’ll most likely have to pay to get in, but I would call first, this will save you time and money.

Foxtail is a hotel pool that is trying to be a day club. It falls short on so many levels. When I think pool club, I think Encore Beach Club, Wet Republic, Marquee Day Club… Foxtail is a pool with a centrally located bar and a shitty layout. Getting in was a breeze. There was NO line on the 4th of July. They weren’t charging a cover. The layout is broken up, where if you came to see a certain DJ, your views are obstructed. Speaking of DJ placement. During the day, the DJ/stage setup faces DUE west. You have your money makers(the DJ) facing the direct, blazing, unforgiving desert heat. Bartenders were quick, but rude. I ordered three beverages and asked to get a glass of water and was told they can’t do that. What?! It’s a bazillion degrees out and you’re going to deny folks H2O?! That’s super fucked and I am pretty sure illegal. Dehydration is real. It’s a legitimate desert. People are drinking, dancing, and hanging out in the pool and you can’t fork over a glass of water on a $ 54 check?! Give me a break. Are things looking that bleak at the SLS that you have to subsidize the cost of water? L-A-M-E. If I want a legit Day Club experience, I’ll take my sweet ass to EBC or Daylight. If someone suggests Foxtail(for the hell of it), BAIL. Only suck it up if it’s a DJ you absolutely love!

If you’re trying to find the bigger pool at SLS(other than the really small pool for everyone), it’s Foxtail which comes with its own perks and downsides. The look of the pool is fine and pretty solid in terms of build. There’s a main bar in the middle with all four sides open(and some cool spray coming out on the sides). There are two pools — one closer to the DJ stage(near the entrance) and the other just opposite with the bar separating the two. A big theme of white paint lines the whole day club. There is a small area to dance in front of the DJ stage and the towels are available behind the DJ(along with restrooms and a rubber duck). Drinks by the way are pretty normally priced for a Vegas location — about $ 10-$ 15 for most drinks. Kudos to that. In terms of the atmosphere, it’s quiet, a bit too quiet for a day club. The pool never really got super full and the crowd was super chill with a few people dancing, getting into the beat. They did throw in some beach balls on the Saturday which at least made for some fun as a sport. Foxtail does make for a great normal pool though with loud EDM/Hip Hop music if you’re looking for that though(and recommended versus the small regular SLS pool) if you can get in for free or a low price. My suggestion would be to check on Friday/Sundays especially while on Saturday, just check throughout the day. There is limited gambling in Foxtail in the back in these fun cabanas(looked like poker/blackjack tables mainly) for those looking and lots of nice-looking cabanas littered all around the pool. Foxtail Pool Club is the pool you do want to try and be at, especially if you’re staying at SLS and just looking for a pool to chill at. However, it’s quiet for a Day Club which may or may not be what you’re looking for.

I love the SLS hotel in general, so it was exciting to know they were going to open one in Vegas. We came here for a friends birthday to enjoy listening to Steve Angello pool side — the only way to take in Vegas if you ask me. I loved the layout of the pool and thought it was really well done. It was rather cold that day for the pool, but that wouldn’t stop us from seeing Steve! The pool was quieter than most other pool parties I’ve been to in the past. Unfortunately Steve Angello never made his appearance like we hoped for and paid for. I was pretty disappointed given how much we paid to have a table there and how excited we were to see him. There was not apology given to us by the staff or hotel to try and make good on a concert we specifically paid for. I was pretty disappointed in the Vegas attitude. While I did appreciate the company and the music, I think it was pretty cheap of them to charge us the same price for a headline DJ when no headline DJ made an appearance. You disappointed me Foxtail and I’m not sure I really want to be duped by you in the future.

Great pool atmosphere at this pool club in SLS Las Vegas. We visited here a couple times while staying at SLS over the weekend. They offered very comfy day beds, cabanas and pool pods. Also, the drinks were delicious, service was great, and music was ideal(combination of energizing and relaxing). The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is having too small of a food menu(approximately 10 items) and not having a DJ full time. I heard the Life pool will be opening in spring and I look forward to visiting there as well(as they stated it will be their venue for pool parties.
