This shop’s name is Eat Drink and located on the second floor of the Cosmo. The shop is inviting, clean and organized. There is a small section of gourmet meats and cheeses. There is a decent selection of wines for sale but there is of course a considerable mark up on the bottles. There is chef inspired kitchenware items and cookbooks. A couple of years ago, I had purchased a set of wine glasses which they packaged carefully and delivered to my home within a week and without a scratch. The cool thing is they offer wine tastings on value wines which can be found at most stores. The tastings start at $ 20 for 8 wines. The pours can be generous depending on the staff that is working that day. If it’s too much vino for one, you can certainly share with another. Definitely a cool store to check out.

Nice people working the counter here. They were exceptionally friendly and all smiles. They also loved my lady’s hair(which is exceptional on its own) and her crazy(not slutty) dress, so extra points there. They had Dogfish Head 90Min IPA, and a variety of different craft beers and liquors(all at Vegas prices of course + upscale hotel), but I was a fan through and through. One thing I was not a fan of however, was purchasing a $ 32 Davidoff cigar(as my pictures depict, I’m more of an Ashton, Graycliff, and Padron guy), and having it crumble on me upon lighting… then not staying lit. It was completely dried out and done. I returned it, only to get another of the same… this time I was too drunk and/or lazy to return it, so instead I squashed that $ 32 piece of tree bark into an ashtray at the Keno machine =/ So from a cigar guy, and Vegas is definitely a cigar town… to the owner(s)/proprietors of this shop… please ‘up’ the humidity factor about 60% and throw some gel packs in that humidor, especially at these markups/prices, yeah? Other than that, we’re all sprinkles.

I don’t really understand this place’s function, but I was there on Thursday for a free event from the Cosmopolitan… a four course wine and food pairing. How can you beat that? Tried some wines, had some(tiny) portions of food, and got to socialize a little bit. Cosmopolitan is easily my favorite hotel/casino right now, and this place is a great hidden jem!

Little gourmet food store which features speciality European foods and ingredients and showcases the celebrity chefs of The Cosmopolitan. Cookbooks, Kitchen equipment, Tools, DVD’s, etc. Hard-to-get Greek Wine and other wines from Europe and here in the US are available as well. There is also a cool Bar Set in the form of a huge suitcase that will set you back $ 12,000…ALOHA!!!
