Dicks Sporting Goods

Don’t go to this Dicks. We usually go to the Dicks at the galleria mall in Henderson. We’ve never had a negative experience there. Unfortunately they did not have the arrows in stock I use for my bow so I had to go to the fashion show location. Not only was the clerk (Amy) clueless to the products they carry in the store she was rude and judgmental. I was buying arrows, peep site, wrist strap and a few other things. Her first comment was «looks like someone’s going fishing». My husband chuckled and said yeah you could bow fish if you want. Her response was «oh that’s so cruel»! She then proceeded to tell us how using a bow is so inhumane. It’s a sporting good store! You sell hunting equipment. If she is so offended by hunting and equipment that you use while hunting she should not be working there. She didn’t know the difference between fishing equipment and bow hunting equipment. We spent over $ 100 there. Her job is to ring up the sale and be helpful not judgmental and condescending. We’ll never shop at this location again and note to the manager… Amy shouldn’t work there.

Dick’s Sporting Goods opened @ Fashion Show Mall a few weeks ago in the anchor tenant spot where Bloomingdales Home store previously took occupancy.
After visiting close to a dozen sports apparel retailers throughout the valley for matching top/​bottom sweats aka jump suit, track suit, etc I was officially on a Search & Rescue Mission.
This new mall retailer had so many top brand name sports apparel products that I just had a hunch this would be the place I strike gold! Yup! I found exactly what I was looking for thanks to Adidas and Polo Sport. And got my son several pair of trendy Nike Elite sox that «all the other kids are wearing.»
Dick’s Sporting Goods @ Fashion Show is well lit, spacious with a great easy to find layout, and offers an excellent inventory! They have all the top brands, newest styles, plenty of sizes, a variety of colors, and friendly employees too… specifically a young gentleman named Derik who works over in the Nike-​Michael Jordan section who was very professional and extremely customer service oriented. Dick’s Sporting Goods is lucky to have such a wonderful employee, as people like Derik are difficult to recruit and employ.
Erin at the cash register was also very friendly and suggested I sign up for their Scorecard Loyalty Program which offers customers $ toward future purchases.
I never made it up the escalator to the 2^nd floor, so I am limiting this review to my 1^st floor wonderful shopping experience. Looking forward to more shopping here at Dick’s Sporting Goods @ Fashion Show Mall, as this is «as good as it gets!»

very big store, i find it interesting that the girls on the shoe dept like to talk smack if you dont purchase what you try on… kinda messed up no? some of the workers are super nice and helpful.
