Dennis Dayrit Photography

Dennis was recommended to me by a photographer friend of mine for my wedding. She had worked with him as a second shooter at another event, and couldn’t say enough great things about him.
From the very beginning, Dennis was courteous and professional. He always answered my emails in a very timely fashion. He was polite and friendly.
We met in person for the first time a few days before the wedding, at the location of the ceremony and reception. We chatted about the day, the order of events, and the first look. He walked us through a couple of poses so that he could have an idea of what he wanted to do the day of.
The day of the wedding, Dennis arrived at the hotel early, (I’m big on punctuality, and this was super impressive.) He made my girls and I feel very comfortable during our getting ready photos, and then he met up with us at the park for the first look and ceremony.
Dennis was great… the first look was fantastic (If you’re a bride on the fence about this, do it. You will calm down immensely.) He really captured the feeling of the day: JOY and LOVE. He got some amazing shots during the ceremony, and I honestly didn’t even notice that he was taking photos, he was that stealthy.
As he was leaving, he gave me the time frame of when to expect the digital files, and he delivered right on time.
I received them yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier! The photos are amazing.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend Dennis’ services to anyone who is getting married, or needs a photographer for any event. He’s polite, personable, and extremely professional.

I was looking for a photographer for our Renewal of Vows and we could not be happier to have chosen Dennis!
Via craigslist I found Dennis’ posting and we exchanged emails.
He was amazingly nice, answered all my questions and offered his services (preparation shooting of bride, ceremony in the afternoon and day after ceremony for outdoor pictures in the morning) for a very competitive price.
We met on one of our trips weeks before the actual day to get to know each other and we showed him what kind of pictures we would like.
On the day of our ceremony he and his lovely wife showed up on time in the preparation hotel room of the bride and started taking pictures, so we have wonderful, funny, memorable shots from before the ceremony. He then documented the way to the venue and took pictures from the wedding guests and also paid attention to capture all the little details that we put so much effort in beforehand. He always made sure that we feel comfortable and had his wife also taken pictures from different angles, so we had the important moments from several perspectives.
He did not forget to take many, many pictures from the guests in different groups, like all the ladies, all the men, bride with all the men, groom with the ladies etc.
The day after the ceremony we met outside and took gorgeous pictures in the sun before the party crowd invaded Las Vegas and he also drove us to the Las Vegas sign where he took the classic motives with us.
A couple days later the pictures arrived on a USB stick via mail along with many printouts for us to enjoy. He even sent us another USB stick with the pictures from his second camera a week later, to make sure we have everything we want in digital format.
Overall this was, besides each other, one of the best choices we could have made for this day. We were so comfortable with him, he was discreet, did not interrupt the ceremony and in some situations I almost worried where he was, because he was able to blend in so perfectly — he even did take pictures from moments I could not remember!
If we ever need a photographer for any kind of pictures in /​around Las Vegas, we will definitely call Dennis again.
Too bad the drive to San Diego is so long, otherwise we would have given him a call on a regular basis for our annual Christmas and summer pictures already!

My partner and I booked Dennis for a 2-​hour elopement shoot, and we couldn’t be more pleased!
From the very beginning, Dennis was extremely responsive over email, answered all of our questions, and was friendly and polite. We’re a same-​sex couple, and he put as at ease right away.
He picked us up at our hotel and drove us around, had good ideas about where to shoot, great guidance during the shoot on posing and adjustments but also let us be ourselves. He was fun and friendly, and even gave us some extra time (and had bottled water for us!). He took us to the chapel right on time.
We got the finished pics in less than a week, and we love them. What a great experience, and right on our budget. His rates are so reasonable. You’ll be pleased!
