The Crown Bakery is my favorite place for almost 10 years… Not only I love their bakery but to relax in cozy place. The people there are very kind too.

Crown bakery has the most wonderful desserts and freshly made sandwiches(pre-made). There is always alot of staff — hardly ever a line except maybe on major holidays. Their cakes are uniquely decorated and taste great! I have bought many cakes for special occasions such as graduation, special birthdays and holidays. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for cakes or pies! They can make a cake to fit any specifications that you desire and it has always come out gorgeous and delicious!

The environment is very welcoming and warm. The pastries are amazing and the matcha green tea latte is the best I’ve had.

I came here specifically for the patbingsu(AKA patbingsoo), the Korean shaved ice dessert that I’d seen pictures of before. It looks very much like the Filipino shaved ice dessert known as halo-halo(‘mix-mix’). The patbingsu that I ordered came with red beans, kiwi, pineapple, strawberries with condensed milk drizzled over it: yum! Halo-halo may have different fruit, but the condensed milk and red bean ingredients are the same. I really enjoyed this dessert and will return to try the green tea ice cream version. The bakery itself has many pastries to choose from, as well. I had the banana sponge cake and vanilla macaron, the latter mostly because it looked like Hello Kitty. Neither of the items were overly sweet, which was a nice change from my donut addiction. The bakery has a seating area where you can hang out with your squad plus Christmas lights are still up to keep you in the holiday spirit past December. I don’t know if they’re there all year long or the staff is too busy serving patbingsu and pastry, but I liked it all.

This place is amazing!!! It was extremely relaxing and everything was so delicious. The cappuccino was kind of bitter but adding sweetener really helped. The sponge cake and Madeline cookies were moist and fluffy. The seats where comfy and the décor was cute and reminded me of the cafes in Korean dramas. They played soft and relaxing Korean/English music. The lady at the counter was really nice and helpful during my order. I also ordered the green tea shaved ice with extra ice-cream and fruits which was phenomenal, the red beans where really sweet but the ice really balance out the sweetness. Overall, this bakery is so cute and if it wasn’t so far from my house, I would want to go here everyday.

I really don’t understand why they don’t make more ube donuts! Every single time I’ve come down here, they run out! It’s so delicious and I drive pretty far to try to buy some, but 8 out of 10 times they’re sold out. Make more, please!

I came here in search for cute Korean treats and boy, did I find the best spot in town! Seriously, this place is straight from a k-drama filled with absolutely cute décor and a rustic home feel. I found this place to be super intimate and clean. I really enjoyed the young woman behind the counter giving me insight on different pastries other than my usual picks. Throughout the day, the bakers are producing fresh and warm individually packed treats for you to share that all range from $ 1 — $ 3. They also offer many types of beverages such as coffee, shakes and tea. Everything is super affordable and tasty. I seriously recommend coming here if you want a spot to hangout, study, or simply have a nice drink. ++++ $ 10 minimum charge for cards

Desserts were so yummy. I will be back to this quaint little hole in the wall Bakery. Only thing is they didn’t have nonfat milk but I guess eating all the baked goods doesn’t require nonfat in there.

Wanted to give this visit a 3.5. They have a wide variety of options. The saleslady was very nice and welcoming. I came here looking for french macarons. They sell them in packs of 3 for over $ 2. Got different flavors. For me, the best one was the chocolate french macarons. The other flavors were too sweet with really thin fillings that would drip after each bite. Except for the chocolate macarons, the other flavors were kind of messy to eat. Will try their other products next time. Unilocal100CHALLENGE: #1

After eating at Boiling Crab, we decided to stop by and pick up some yummy Korean baked goods. Out of all the years I’ve been coming to Vegas, I never thought to or knew about Chinatown or to look for Asian places to eat. This bakery is located upstairs of one of the many shopping centers in chinatown. They have small baskets for you to grab as many goodies as you want and even sell macaroons and single slices of a few different types of cake. The macaroons were delightful and not too sweet like most macaroons. We’ll definitely be stopping by here again next time we’re out in Vegas!

I’ve alwas visited this place back when I didn’t really know many bakeries in Vegas. This was my go-to spot as I was a fan of their honey layered cake. That thing always gets me every time, and it’s actually the only thing I get from there. So, when I find myself in here, I tend to get at least five of those every time. In terms of other pastries, I’m not so much of a fan. You know they bake everything from the back, but it’s one of those baked goods that your friends attempt to make, and while they look good, they taste pretty bad. I think they have the basics on how to make the intended pastry or baked good to work, but there’s definitely the need for improvement on all of them. I did mention that the layed honey cake that I get was always my number one go-to pastry in here, but I also noticed that they’ve went down in quality, and there aren’t that many layers with it anymore. The fillings on the inside aren’t as gooey, and you can tell that they’re trying to cut back on adding more. So, that was a bit of a disappointment. Once, I got a cake from this bakery for a friend of mine. It looked so delicious with the layer of chocolate beautifully crafted to fit the cake and fruits along with it. But then when you take a bite of it, the chocolate wasn’t fitting from the flavor of the DRY cake. I might give their cake a try again, but I’m seriously not even going to try it any time soon as I’ve heard there are better bakeries out there. They also sell macarons in here that are not well executed. You can tell just by looking at them that they didn’t strain the almond flour because there are bits of them at the roof of the macaron. This not only makes the macaron look like it’s having a serious breakout, but that’s like a macaron no-no! You have to strain the almond flour, and while I know from first hand that it’s a b*tch to do, it is a must. But then to sell it to me at a regular macaron price? I really don’t think so. When you take a bite of it, the shell is hard, and it just doesn’t have the texture of what the real thing should taste like. Skip this treat and try something else!

The dining/lounge area is tight but full of cozy seating and table options to relax. In the back half of the shop they have a table full of wrapped goodies and the walls are lined with bookshelves full of treats as well. There are so many different items to choose from and it all looks delicious! Then you get to the cold case that hold drinks, cakes, and macaron cookies! The chalk board menu above the case had what we were looking for. Korean shaved ice! Yum!!! Nicely priced for a great size bowl and only $ 1 extra for ice cream or fruit on top. The cashier was super helpful in recommending a flavor for us and very cheery. Personally I am a huge bakery fan and I really enjoy the entire vibe of this place. I look very forward to exploring their products more and getting to know their style. A true hidden gem! A must see!

The customer service is on point. I want to give them a 3.5. There were so many goodies to choose from. We ended up trying their mini cinnamon rolls, cheesecake bun, macarons, espresso, and a vanilla latte. Overall, we enjoyed all the tasty treats! Our favorite choices were the macarons, the vanilla latte and espresso. We weren’t a fan of the cheesecake bun because it had way too much filling and the little cinnamon rolls would of tasted better if it came right out of the oven but I know I know it’s pre made. The ambience needs a little help. It looks a little dated. However, I do want to come back for their cakes! It looks pretty amazing.

This place was great, my boyfriend and I stopped in after getting boba from Tea Time Café– decided to head upstairs to this bakery. It was our first time, and our first impression is that it was such a cool and nice place to relax. They have a seating area where you can enjoy your treat and any drinks you order. Also, the young lady helped us pick what desserts to get and she recommended the Cream Cheese Bun– which my boyfriend and I fought over. She was very sweet and helped us pick out all our products. It was a great experience– definitely deserves a great review.

Items Selected: Green Tea Cookies Butter Bread Sweet Pecan Pie Rock Bun Mr. Kim Bun Ube Cream Choco-Honey Cake Located next to latenight stalwart Ichiza, occupying the East corner of the second floor at 4355 Spring Mountain Road, Crown Bakery had long been a place on the local to-do list and with dim sum at Ping Pang Pong proving less than exhilarating it was largely on a whim that the decision was made to stop in, a smiling young lady more than happy to answer several questions and even going so far as to offer a pair of complimentary cookies atop the half-dozen items self-selected to check out the store’s wares. Most certainly no expert in Asian baked goods, a sweet tooth crafted in the Midwest far more attuned to American and European-styled pastry, it was with coffee in hand that a degustation of Crown’s buns and breads was undertaken and starting off with the crispy matcha cookies teaming with chopped nuts the restrained use of sugar was immediately evident, a texture not far from Italian Biscotti while the flavor profile trended herbal and lightly creamy — each bite actually well paired to the java, and likely even more appropriate alongside a pot of tea. Attempting best to see flavors progress from mild to rich it was with one cookie set aside that sights were turned to the appropriately named«Butter Bread» and as much as placing butter atop milk bread filled with cream filling may seem a good idea the use of a whole pad that stood solid simply seemed unnecessary, the additional calories far better invested in crispy wheels loaded with pralines and sprinkled with sugar, the flavor still less ‘sweet’ than the Southern classic despite the title’s description, but delicious just the same. Moving next to a dense orb denoted as «Rock Bread,» suffice it to say there is probably no American item comparable to the amalgam of dried fruits, coconut, several types of nuts, and just enough flour to see it all bind tasted to date, and although a bit challenging to pull apart and eat the variety of flavors were exceedingly natural… perhaps even ‘healthy,’ a followup«Mr. Kim Bun» featuring a soft base laced in peanut butter and red bean paste obviously trending a bit more sugary though still quite mellow amidst the supple white base. Always a fan of purple yam, it was with good fortune that despite arriving a few hours after noon there was still one Ube Cream Bun left on the shelf, and with a light coat of spelt decorating the outside for texture the flavor was every bit as good as expected, a half quickly eaten while the rest was consumed shortly after tasting the cocoa-honey ‘cake’ that unfortunately proved a bit lackluster with texture not dissimilar to that of Wonderbread with neither flavor very pronounced. A bit hidden amidst one of Chinatown’s busiest plazas, but featuring several novelties with low prices and the sort of service that one rarely associates with Spring Mountain Road, Crown Bakery is a place well worth exploring for those interested in Asian baked goods, a full exploration of the scene yet to be undertaken but the results thus far a promising start.

This unique bakery has a nice sitting area(small, but very cute). Their selection and quality rivals even the higher end bakery’s. Their prices are amazing as well. $ 5 goes a long way at this place, but I ended up spending more to have something to bring home.
