City Center Motel

No temperature control in the room. Freezing the whole night and I called for someone to come up and fix it. But no one came. Complained to front desk that morning but they were argumentative and refused to help us, or contact management. Never ever go here. It’s not Woth saving a few bucks.

This place is evidently run by terrible business people… I made a reservation through
this past week for Sept 25 – 28 for a music festival. They had the lowest rates within walking distance from Fremont St so I was excited. I received an email yesterday telling me that my reservation was cancelled because the credit card I provided was declined. Allow me to share with you how I know this is completely incorrect…
1. My credit card information is stored in
and has been for quite a while, so I know nothing was entered incorrectly.
2. I booked another hotel for a friend’s wedding that same day, with the same card, and that charge was completed with no issues.
3. I checked with my bank, and City Center Motel had not even attempted to run my card. Ever.
This leads me to believe that City Center Motel simply did not want to rent me the room at the rate they promised, because they had since realized that they could raise their prices due to the music festival occurring on those dates.
Poor business practices, if you ask me.
