Extremely pricy…$ 17 for a 12 inch Margherita pizza. Pizza is awful! Margherita & veggie pizza are terrible. I don’t recommend & won’t go back.

This is the second time I came here! Food was delicious! My friend and I ordered Branzino al sale o alla griglia which is baked Seabass under salted crust! This was awesome! We also ordered risotto! Very good! Definitely come back here again

Excellent place with a perfect view to stage performances. Great staff, very friendly. Love the food here. The bread and butter served is great and my favorite dish in here is cannelloni Di Pollo. top that with a dessert vine… they have a large variety to choose from.

We went here on our wedding night to celebrate with friends a year ago and came back for our one year anniversary. It was wonderful the first time and just as wonderful last night! Cannaloni de pollo(spelling?) was so yummy!

THISPLACEIS A SCAM!!! I hope that the owner of this place take the necessary action against the manager in charge on 5÷8÷16 for overcharging me and refusing to adjust there won mistake. So we ordered pasta and a bottle of wine. The food was average. But when we got the bill, we were charged the wrong price so we asked to adjust it. And the so cold manager refused to fix the mistake. Scam! Not good. I would never recommend this scam to anyone.

Good food BUT. 1– Seats were dirty 2– Hair in the napkin/tissue 3– They treat customers with attitude. I had the worst welcoming ever.

Here for a conference and made a reservation for 15 weeks in advance. Received two separate confirmations, one for 10 people and one for 5 people. Called to clarify and was assured all 15 would sit together. Arrived the night of our reservation for 8:45 and hostess could not find anything. After a few minutes we were told they had us as a 10 and 5 and that we would not be together. Fine. They said they needed a few minutes to prepare our tables. It’s now after 9 and we are hungry! Still waiting the manager asked to speak to one of us privately. He explained there was a water AND a gas leak and that the entire Venetian(bars and restaurants) were closing down until the problem was fixed, AND also mentioned they close at 9:30 anyway. As we left to try to find another place to eat we passed a multitude of establishments(in the Venetian) that were business as usual! We realized they likely just didn’t want to serve us. TOTALDISASTER. Would not recommend.

Wow! I was skeptical. Having traveled abroad, the restaurants on the piazza are usually a disappointment. This place defied the stereotype. The food & service were amazing. We had risotto with asparagus and chicken, and an exceptional Cesar salad(I know, how exceptional can a Cesar salad be? But it really was) Great experience overall.

Wow. Absolutely beautiful ambiance. Located in «St. Marks Square» you get the amazing ambiance of the open square, the entertainers, the gorgeous lighting, and the«alfresco» feeling. Next best thing to actually being in Italy. The bread basket is good. Nothing crazy special, but tasty. My fave was the olive roll. The food was also very tasty and well prepared. The star dishes being the pastas. Pasta trio(5⁄5 stars): rigatoni Bolognese, pear and Gorgonzola ravioli, and pesto gnocchi. All the pastas tasted very fresh, light, flavorful, and satisfying. Gnocchi can be hard to get right sometimes, but this one was perfect. Mushroom risotto(4⁄5 stars): my husband said this was one of the best risottos he’s had. It was a bit too sauce heavy for me, but good overall. Veal(2⁄5 stars): my dad got this and hated it. He said it was tasteless and not enough sauce. Mushroom spaghetti(3.5÷5 stars): a simple but still delicious dish. Again, the pastas are where they shine! Chicken(3.5÷5 stars): a bit on the drier side, but great flavor that made up for it. A little bit spicy! Overall, a nice option in the Grand Canal Shoppes. The food won’t blow you away, but it’s good, and the ambiance will blow you alway.

I was going to a show at the Venetian and wanted to try some place different and Canaletto came to mind. I made a reservation for 5:15 and was seated promptly when I arrived at a two top table on the patio where I had a good view of the Venetian’s «street performers» and the tourists walking by. I was quickly brought a nice bread basket – more than enough for one person – and the server asked if I wanted balsamic and olive oil. Declining the balsamic, I went with the olive oil and put some salt in it for the extra flavor I like. I asked about the soup of the day and it was broccolini and that sounded good so I ordered that. For the main course, I got their three pasta dish with pennoni al ragu, house-made ravioli filled with roasted pear, and pesto gnocchi. My two favorites were the tubes topped with ragu sauce and the ravioli. There was a bit of tomato/water mixture from not draining completely but I was surprised how much I liked the traditional meat ragu. The ravioli were very good, also, and they had a very nice flavor given the pear filling, something I wouldn’t expect in pasta. The gnocchi were the least favorite of the trio. They were heavier than I like them and the pesto sauce was lacking. For dessert, I got a wonderful lime tart that had a tasty cookie crumb base. These are Strip prices but not as bad as one sees some places.

Decent Italian food that is definitely overpriced(this seems to be a recurring theme in Vegas). Ordered the octopus and potato appetizer and the trio of pastas to share with a friend. Left us with room for dessert. Would be willing to come here again but wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.

I should start this review by saying that the pasta here is incredible. My boyfriend and I ate here on our last night in Las Vegas because we were craving some good house made pasta and we were not disappointed. However, we received terrible service at this restaurant and, considering it was not an inexpensive meal, this should not have happened and was extremely upsetting. My boyfriend and I look young(we are relatively young) but we have no problem spending money on a good meal. First, when we sat down, the waiter immediately came over and took away our wine glasses and the wine menu before asking if we wanted anything to drink. Uh… We did but you took our menus and glasses. He commented that we looked very young and he needed to see ID. We gladly showed it to him and he served us our wine. IDing me is not a problem but I was annoyed that he took our drink menus and glasses without asking. After we ordered drinks, he must have come back about every 30 seconds to ask if we were ready to order yet. We felt rushed as we decided on appetizers and entrees. Thank god the food was amazing because I would have been pissed otherwise. We ordered Bruschetta, Gnocchi Formaggi, and Gnocchi al Ragu. The Gnocchi Formaggi was incredible. As we ate our meal we noticed our waiter go to two different tables next to us to welcome them and read out the specials. I was a little annoyed before but I didn’t think about it too much until the point. He certainly had not spent any time welcoming us into the restaurant and he definitely hadn’t read us a single special. We were pretty insulted that he didn’t seem to think we were worthy of basic restaurant etiquette. Our waiter disappeared for the rest of the night until our plates had been taken away. We declined an offer for dessert but ordered two more glasses of wine. When he brought our drinks back he commented that we «really should order a dessert with that.» Pretty sure I already said no thank you? As my boyfriend and I finished our wine and debated on getting a coffee, the waiter dropped the check on our table which made up our minds for us. Honestly, we enjoyed ourselves at this restaurant. The food was incredible and the restaurant itself is very pretty. It was a great way to end our trip and I would definitely recommend it. But it’s simply not fair to neglect a paying customer because of their age.

The Italian«al fresco» ambiance is everything here, but the A+ food and service makes this restaurant all the more worthwhile. My mom and I happened to be strolling by St. Marks Square inside The Venetian on a Tuesday evening and saw that their happy hour special was still going on. It’s a beautiful restaurant, so we thought… why not? Folks getting the happy hour deal are confined to the outdoor bar area, but we were able to snag a two-seater tallboy(part of the bar area) facing the square which was a total win. Great views all around! My mom ordered the octopus salad and I got the carpcaccio /arugula dish. Both appetizers were very tasty. Our server also gave us a free bread basket, which we were jazzed about since only patrons having«real» dinners are supplied with those. What a delicious, stunning memorable meal. Sidenote: Their happy hour deal is quite the steal and highly recommend coming here then:

What sight to see and smell! Didn’t have a chance to stop by and dine here but my observation of this place is a good one. Crowded and full to the max with lots of people. The food smelled great and everyone here seemed to be having a really great time. As I was making my way to the gondola I was impressed with the service here as well. Lots of moving bodies working together to get orders out and check on tables. I believe there is a bar area here as well. I do not think you need a reservation here but I would double check to be on the safe side. Oh, if you have a google app you should get the translate so that you can make an effort to pronounce the food on the menu. It shows and effort as opposed to pointing!!! Ahhhh, pointing is just odd! #enjoy

Ah – Canaletto is in Venice. The Las Vegas one and it’s a good place to go. Your on a square outside and performances break out. I had fun. There’s even gondoliers around and a canal. Actually the«real» Venice is much weirder(Don’t Look Now– doesn’t strike me as that off). But that’s ok .The food is pretty good and the service pleasant. I had Branzino filet and wife had Salmon. It was one of the few times on the trip I sprung for a bottle of wine– overpriced Princepessa Gavi. We followed with desert and expresso. Main courses are served with vegetables and potatoes. One big plus is you are not blasted by overamplified, wretched pop music of the young woman screams and ululates about how much she’s in love and castrati do likewise type. Las Vegas is too noisy! This was nice.

We came here for a family reunion of about 50 people so perhaps that large of a group was this restaurant’s problem. Our meal consisted of a small salad, small portion of pasta, the main entrée, and tiramisu. Service was impeccable and very attentive. The bread and olive oil/vinegar starter were served promptly. The bread was warm, crispy on the outside/soft on the inside. Bravo! The salad was ok but the pasta with pink cream sauce was outstanding. It was simple but outstanding. The entrees, unfortunately, were disappointing for the most part. Our entrée choices were risotto, salmon, chicken and NY steak. Based on everyone’s comments, all but the salmon were disappointing. The risotto and chicken were dry. The NY steak lacked any flavor and were undercooked. The salmon, which is typically the biggest concern, was on point! The tiramisu was good in a typical sort of way. Perhaps the food would have been consistent for smaller groups, etc.

I really liked the location and atmosphere of this restaurant! They have A LOT of seating available. This place is located in the beautiful Grand Canal Shoppes … and there is also a free stage show, that I randomly passed by. People were dressed in costumes like from the Renaissance! After a few hours of shopping and walking, I thought this would be a great place to take a break and eat. I got the impression that the hostess was new because after she seated me at my table, I had to move!?! Then a few minutes later, a couple nearby ended up moving to a different table too. The time was afternoon, so lunch rush was over and dinner hadn’t started yet, but it was still busy. I definitely wanted a drink, so ended up at the bar and changed my mind not to order food. They seemed disorganized and I didn’t have a comfortable feeling, thinking a one hour lunch might turn into 2 hours lunch … Whilst I still had a lot of plans for later. Drinks were very expensive, but that’s okay, I was on vacation and only care to enjoy my time and new experience. I got two bartenders, one was friendly and cool, the other was a jerk! I guess he was having a bad day and got impatient when I couldn’t decide on my drink choice. Plus he made my drink wrong, he forgot to put the fresh Strawberries!!! I didn’t say anything because it tasted great and it had a good amount of alcohol. So, when the nice bartender came over, I ordered dessert. It was a lovely dessert with a Bellini sorbet, blackberries, baicoli cookies, and cream, very delicious. I’m glad I did not order food, since how my first experience started off there with the hostess and server. I paid and left a big tip, hopefully both bartenders shared it but who knows? I was happy and enjoying my day, can’t help it when others are negative, maybe the extra tip % cheered up the moody bartender ;) I love the Venetian and Grand Canal Shoppes, I practically came here almost every day of my week vacation in Vegas! Hopefully next time I can actually get nice service and a great meal.
