Still terrific! I’ve been a few times now and love this small bar at the back of The Cromwell(away from The Strip)… these bartenders know their stuff! And a great atmosphere as well. A must!

A wonderful lobby bar that serves up some of the best cocktails I’ve had the pleasure of tasting! I’ve been here on several occasions and have never left disappointed.(Let’s keep that trend going, please.) Located right next to the check-in room at The Cromwell, Bound serves up some excellent concoctions in a swanky, sexy, classy environment. There is a live singer sometimes, although I can’t seem to figure out the timing. My favorite and go-to specialty cocktail is the Breakfast Martini, which is a mix of gin, orange marmalade, citrus zest and Cointreau(fancy shmancy triple sec). A few of those and you’ll need to be dragged away from the bar. I also tried my friend’s Spicy Fifty(vodka, elderflower, lime juice and chili peppers) which was interesting but I’m just not a fan of spicy drinks. My most recent visit was earlier this month(Jan 2016) and they now have a book-BOUND menu which is pretty neat and has all of the explanations and history of Salvatore Calabrese, the mixologist whose menu is served up at this bar. Besides the cocktails, there is a decent selection of well drinks, draft beers and wine. The bartenders are very friendly and interesting to strike up conversations with! There is bar seating as well as several lounge tables/chairs.

The wife and I checked out Bound on two separate trips to Las Vegas. Both of our visits were during the late afternoon, one mid-week, the other on a Sunday. On both occasions, seats at the bar were easily had. Located just off of the main lobby of the Cromwell, Bound didn’t appear to be much more than your average lobby bar, not that it needed to have an extravagant décor or a ridiculous theme, but still classy, comfortable, and welcoming. Instead, Bound focused where it truly mattered, its craft cocktails. On our first trip, I had the Barrel Aged Blood & Sand($ 16) made with Johnny Walker Black, sweet vermouth, Cherry Heering, and orange foam. I like the classic Blood & Sand, but I loved Bound’s clever reimagining of this classic. The orange foam was the difference-maker as it provided the requisite orange notes on the palate and aromatics, without the, sometimes overwhelming, presence of OJ, allowing the spirits to speak. On our second, most recent, trip, I asked if the bartender if he could make me a boozy, bitter, stirred cocktail with a whiskey as the base spirit. Derek gladly obliged and made me a drink that was exactly what I was thirsty for using Angel’s Envy as the base($ 14). If Derek is behind the bar, you’re in for a treat because the guy can make a serious drink! I love a well-made drink. Bound easily surpassed my expectations and did it at a price, which while not cheap, was comparable in price to other cocktail bars on the Strip, and provided excellent quality and execution at what I still considered a very fair price. Bound makes a serious argument for being the best cocktail bar on the Strip, if not Las Vegas.

Small bar. Loud. Can’t even hear the singer. Very disappointed. Went to see a local singer that has been begging me to go to one of her shows only to be scammed by her and the bartender to pay for her drinks and her friends drinks. I thought I had already paid for my drinks and knew something was strange but after leaving, I happened to check my bank account only to find that, yup, I was charged for mine and the singer’s and singer’s friends… now I now why she wanted me to come so badly. Ugh. F&B manager didn’t want anything to do with it and wouldn’t even attempt to handle it. Michelle is cheap and low. But, thanks… now I know to never go back here again. Or to go to any of this singer’s shows. I will leave her unnamed as I feel that the bar should’ve handled it.

I love this bar. Trendy, quiet, relaxing. Great drinks, altho pricey, but it’s right next to the casino and valet. Can’t get better than that. Tons of beer on tap, fabulous cocktails… I loved it here! Definitely come by to have at least one drink.

WATCHYOURRECEIPT Bartender didn’t bother telling us tax & gratuity is already included in tab since there was NO breakdown on receipt he gave us, so 2 $ 16 drinks is $ 40! Good thing we questioned it coz there was a line for tip even though it was automatically added on our tab. They can print u a receipt of the breakdown so request for it coz dude didn’t! SHADY I bet this is a good way to get that extra tip, but you’ll have customers like me who will not be duped like tourists! If u want more than 20%, you should have said gratuity was already included instead of my fiancé unknowingly adding another tip to an automatic gratuity tab My fiancé asked the bartender«how much are each of our drinks?». He said«$ 20 each». So my fiancé said«then y does it say $ 16 on the menu?», and the bartender mumbled about the tax and gratuity is already included and that’s what alerted us about why our bill is high.(since bartender gave us the receipt without the breakdown) He then glanced at my fiances receipt and said«u can cross out the tip because I didn’t run ur card yet». No «sorry for not warning you about the automatic gratuity or let me print you a receipt with the breakdown sir???» This was our experience 4.18.15 around 1000pm Drinks were ok. Nothing wowed us, except for the drink the bartender made my fiancé that was not on the menu. Not interested in returning and sticking to Velveteen Rabbit for a great cocktail lounge at an affordable price and ppl not out to trick customers PS. when my fiancé ordered another drink after closing out our initial tab, that’s when a different bartender(actually, I think he’s the bar back) gave us a receipt that showed gratuity and tax.

Located between Drai’s Beach Club and the retail area at The Cromwell, this classy and elegant cocktail bar is one of the best things I have tried in Vegas for a long time. Actually, since forever. You can tell, I’m smitten. Swanky black and gold interior. Leather couches, small tables. And a book serves as the cocktail menu. Bound was created by Salvatore Calabrese, a bartender with over 30 years of international experience. On the menu you’ll find unusual and creative drinks like the BREAKFASTMARTINI(gin-based mix with orange marmalade) or THECROMWELLFIZZ(Macallan Fine Oak Whiskey, lemon juice, orange bitters and Moët & Chandon Impérial champagne). There you go, I just gave you my two favorites. The drinks are handcrafted, mixed by amazing bartenders, and delivered by the wonderful waitresses. Colleen was serving us that night and she took well care of our table! I found my favorite cocktail bar in Vegas that night.

I had an excellent experience here at Bound. The bar was not too busy so the bar tenders were able to be extra creative when I was unable to decide on a drink. But the best drink I had was made by Armand. I ordered a sazerac and it was probably one of the best things I ever had.

Super cool spot. In the back but open to the casino area. Great cocktails made with fresh ingredients. They have small food plates to munch on too. The bartenders are very friendly. Ask for rick. He made us drinks based on things we like.

I’ve already reviewed Bound last summer but after spending a lot of time here during my last trip to Vegas, I can confirm that it has become my Go-To bar on the Strip. Drinks are well crafted and creative, service there is really good, and it’s a really awesome spot for people watching since folks pass by here on the way to Drai’s. «Never Say Goodnight» Espresso Cocktail — Red Bull Flavored Espresso, Stole Vanil Vodka, Perond Absinthe, Sugar Syrup and Spices I had this last time I visited and I didn’t hesitate to go back for another. The NSG is my favorite drink at Bound mainly because it keeps me going late in the night on the Strip. Negroni Svegliato Espresso Cocktail — Martini Gran Lusso Flavored Espresso, Tanqueray No. Ten Gin, and Campari I ordered this because of the cool name which sounds like a Harry Potter spell. It’s fun to say! This drink surprised me because it’s an espresso cocktail but there’s no coffee in it whatsoever. If you’re going to have just one drink at Bound, I really recommend this one. Grace — Grey Goose La Poire Vodka, Fresh Pear Purée, Apple and Lemon Juices, Honey Syrup, Lemongrass, and Fresh Mint One of their signature drinks, it’s a very refreshing cocktail. Spicy-Fifty – Stolichnaya Vanil Vodka, Elderflower Cordial, Fresh Lime Juice, Honey Syrup, and Chili Pepper Also another one of their signature drinks. Like the Grace, this one is also a refreshing drink but it’s a got a nice spicy kick to it with the fresh Chili Pepper. I never noticed that they had a full bar bites menu as well( ). Its got sliders, crab and shrimp cocktail, crepes, tuna tartare, and caviar just to name a few. Pretty snazzy! I’ll have to tackle that next time I come back to pair with their drinks. As I’ve stated before, Bound is just a great spot just to hangout. The bartenders and waitresses here are really cool folks and the atmosphere is very relaxing. You can’t go wrong with this bar!

Walk towards the back of the casino. Lounge area that offers small plates and artesian beverages. Plush seating at the bar and seating area around. Bartenders were quick to menus, provide suggestions, and answer any questions. There was our group of five. We each ordered different drinks from sweet to stiff. The bartenders make from freshest ingredients. Fresh oranges, strawberries, et al paired with fine liquors from bourbon, tequila, whiskey. One can also order straight or regular drinks. Two of us tried the bar aged blood and sand(bourbon orange and a few other goodness) and bunny bubbles(Champagne and pomegranate) Service was spot on from John. Drinks were subtle but definite with alcohol and enjoyable. Such a delight to watch the craftsmanship, respect to flare and ingredients. Good: drinks, service, and craft of the bar tenders. Bad: wish I tried more. I’ll try more.

I went to Vegas for a quick 24 hour trip with my cousin yesterday for the Justin Timberlake concert and he brought me to this fantastic bar. It’s definitely reminiscent of Cole’s out here in Los Angeles. First of all, the location is great. It’s a small kind of chill bar where you can hang out enjoy your drinks and socialize. It’s not a lets get so drunk and passed out kind of place. It’s a cool social place. Second, and most important, in terms of a bar, the drinks are uniquely created and everything is made in house. The drinks here are definitely art. It’s not a vodka tonic or Jack and coke type of place. It is definitely made for you to enjoy your drink. Third, the customer service is freaking exquisite and fantastic. The bartenders are so friendly, charming, very nice and very outgoing. You enjoy talking with them and they’re cool people. I enjoyed my talk with Brittany and Armon last night and they definitely seem like two people that enjoy what they do. Brittany made the drink called Grace for me which was heaven and Armon hooked up my cousin with some whiskey cognac specialty that was beautiful to see. You definitely must come to this bar at the Cromwell or you’re not doing Vegas right. Drinks are A+ Bartenders A++ I can’t wait to go see them next time I’m in Vegas.

Very impressed with bound!!! Had some time to kill before my room was ready and this place was a great way to do it. The bartenders are very friendly and helpful in finding a drink you will love. Some times the drink lists at Craft Cocktail bars can be a little overwhelming but with someone to guide you its great. I wish I could remember the name of the bartender that helped me but that was two Vegas trips and alot of drinks back ;) He really took the time to make the cocktails perfect! I have been to many bars in Vegas and I think this might be the best!

Vegas does it right. A swanky lounge at the Cromwell with black and gold colors, Bound makes it easy to slip onto the barstool and start salivating. The handsome barman handed me a cocktail book that holds the classics plus their own creations. Normally, I’d go with the house specialty, but I was confident he’d make my Vesper cocktail right. He didn’t have Lillet Blanc but substituted cocchi Americano instead. He sets down my ice cold drink and says, «two very strong Vespers. Cheers.» He wasn’t kidding. Not the smoothest I’ve had, but definitely the strongest.(I mean, at $ 18 each, they should kick my butt) Gotta love Vegas!

Right before leaving for the airport to go home, my husband and I stopped by Bound by Salvatore to have a last cocktail. It was empty in the bar, but it was also about 1pm. So we had our pick of seat and all the attention of the bartender. The service here was fantastic. We were given recommendations that were spot on perfect. My husband got an Old Fashioned, but with a Cromwell twist. I cannot remember the name of it, but he really liked it a lot. I picked something called Grace, which was pear vodka, pear purée, and fresh juices garnished with a dried pear and stalks of lemongrass. It was beautiful! Also delicious, refreshing, light, lovely. Apparently the cocktail menu was designed by Salvatore Calabrese, who is a well-known mixologist. However, I am unfamiliar with the name. But he crafted an amazing cocktail for me. If they weren’t all made of alcohol, I would have loved to try several different ones while I had the chance. The coffee cockails sound amazing! Bar is small, somewhat intimate-feeling, located in The Cromwell boutique hotel. I highly recommend you stop by to give their drinks a try. Well worth it.

Well, I have found another bar with great cocktails to recommend and take my friends to along with Vespers. I was there a week ago on a Wednesday night since I was staying the night for a convention and wanted to give it a try. It’s not a particularly big bar but then again, it’s not a big hotel lobby. It was also fairly dead with only three other patrons at the bar itself and no one in the chairs in the lounge area. I was greeted by one of the bar tenders as I entered and was given a menu quickly as I sat at the bar. They had some great sounding drinks and I went with a Spicy 50 first. Excellent! A great and unique combination of flavors served in a chilled martini type glass. They also asked if I wanted a water along with it which I certainly did. After the spicy 50 a different bartender(there were 3 at this time) asked if I wanted to try something else and I asked for a recommendation. After a few questions he suggested an Old Fashioned also suggesting the bourbon to use and I agreed. A different bartender made it and it was great. I mean seriously it was perfect. Alas bourbon, whiskey, and cognac all affect me quickly so that was my last drink of the night but it was a great one. I plan to stay at the Cromwell for Christmas and am looking forward to having another drink in Bound.

Grabbing a pre dinner drink before hitting Giada, this place was the first thing we stumbled upon when we arrived at Cromwell. I like the setup, lots of comfortable leather couches and tables and chairs setup, and it was a great people watching spot. Our server was great, very friendly and accommodating, but the bartender was in need of some serious help. After we ordered, we waited an absurd amount of time for our drinks, and we were the only group bedside a few people at the bar. I wasn’t too impressed with the drink menu, I’m all for hand crafted drinks and mixology, but I feel they used way too many ingredients in their cocktails. For $ 16 a drink, I better enjoy it.

Loved it! From the décor, to the service, to the yummy cocktails Bound is probably one of my favorite«schmancy» bars in Vegas! Christina was our server and she was so completely awesome! She checked in on us at just the right times, helped us a ton with our drink selection and overall was just pretty great! Oh and I highly recommend the«Spicy Fifty»! I am sad we didn’t get to try any of the espresso cocktails but will definitely have to try them next time. Also the location of the bar is good for people watching. Haha! Oh how I love watching girls who obviously are not used to walking in heels stomp around like duckies. LOL!!!
