Bakeshop

Ordered 2 dozen cupcakes and a dozen cake balls from here over the weekend. The people were so easy to work with and very friendly. I was supposed to get a call to confirm and I think they forgot but they apologized immediately and were even able to bring everything directly up to my hotel room which was a huge help.
Would definitely recommend the red velvet cake balls and this bakery to anyone, especially if you need something delivered or custom! Very fair prices too.

This has to be the best bakery ever, not just in the Vegas area. There is always a nice selection of baked goods, I feel overwhelmed in the very best way each time I visit. The tres leche is to die for. I dream of this in between visits. It is perfectly moist and perfectly sweet. The streusel bars have that perfect buttery brown sugar crumble on top that gives it the best flavor. I like to think nobody makes keylime pie like I do, but I was truly impressed by the keylime pie here. Every item I’ve had here is obviously made from scratch like you would at home, definitely not standard flavorless bakery items. Their pricing is more than fair for baked goods too. If you live in Las Vegas you must try this bakery!

Everything from the pies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, muffins and tre leches is made from scratch using high-​quality ingredients.
I recommend getting the pretzel bar covered in chocolate, tre leches, and the hummingbird cake.
Samantha is one of the coolest person I’ve ever met!!!
Her passion for the desserts she sells is unbelievable!!!
I should clarify her mother actually makes them but Samantha promotes and knows the level of work that is involved.
It was very easy for me to become a fan of her shop, because we shared similar likes and dislikes. In general, it just created a fun experience!!!
This is just a wonderful bakery to visit, and places like this makes me proud to support small local businesses!!!

The Oreo truffles are out of this world. I went in just to see what they had and brought these gems home. My family raved! I went the next day to take to some clients. Raves all around. It’s what I take now to every meeting to leave a little gift. It’s a winner.
I’ve also had their oatmeal raisin cookies, which are terrific and the lemon bars.
Very nice staff, and a nice clean and well presented store.
My only complaint is that they need an espresso machine. If that happened, then I’d hang there most mornings.
Come on girls; call Illy or Sagafredo! Café is needed and your biz will double!

Okay — this review is LONG overdue! Samantha and her family at Bakeshop are just AMAZING! For years I thought the idea of a «gender reveal» party was stupid; that was until I was pregnant. Next thing I know Hubs and I decided that not only do we want to do a reveal with our family, but find out ourselves at the same time.
I called in advance to get details from Samantha and she was great, helping to go over options and pricing with me, and sharing in the excitement of doing a reveal cake. I even went in advance to try a sample of the tres leches, because I had to know it was delicious and oh, it was! So we had our ultrasound tech hide the gender from us so we could deliver it for Bakeshop to bake the color into the cake.
I was so excited going in to the store to hand it off… until that time came. I became so nervous leaving my baby’s ultrasound with them — I felt like I was trusting Samantha with my baby’s life. I know, ridiculous, but first time future mom here. She was so sweet and to reassure me placed my most important — the ultrasound — with their most important — their health rating! I was ensured it wouldn’t get lost or dirty, and that she would check out the gender immediately upon my leaving, lol. By the way, I just keep giggling thinking back on this.
The day of the reveal came and they were beyond sweet! Hubs picked up the cake and not only did he leave there with the cake, but also with an extra cupcake in case we would want to cut into it separately to see the gender before everyone arrived. They also framed and wrapped up the ultrasound for us — so thoughtful and just a wonderful touch on this special day for us. Well, when the time came (and we made sure there was build up with the whole family) we cut into the cake. BLUE!!! He’s a boy! It was such a special experience and one that we were able to share with our whole family, and also have on film now to relive. The experience was made even that more special by Samantha and her family. THANK YOU!!! Oh! And the cake was also delicious!!!

Local bakery with a cute inside. Unfortunately, I’ve never been to a bakery that felt like a coffee shop… in that you wanted to hang out inside. This one’s no exception. They have it set up with homey country-​kinda décor and lots of little tables, but it’s too quiet (or something) to hang out inside. Also, I can’t sit around and eat sweets without something to drink. They had a pretty limited drink selection and were out of Diet Pepsi, so my only option was water.
I liked the selection of goods: cupcakes, some sugar-​free cheesecakes, strudels, cookies, brownies. We had a chocolate chip cookie (good, but pricey at $ 2.50 I think) and a cheesecake strawberry strudel. I had really high hopes for this one, but in the end it was just kinda bland. The streusel on top was missing something… sugar? salt? something…
Anyway, it’s a decent little local bakery, but not good enough to drive that far (especially considering I’d be driving past Freed’s).

Ordered some tres leches for my LO 1^st birthday… And they give me some extras since they where going to close up shop for their annual vacay. Score!
All of my guest that ate it raved how good it taste and that it was favorful and not soggy. I wish I had ordered more.

My experience with Bakeshop has been off the wall GREAT!
The Details:
My first order was for my boyfriend’s 31^st birthday. My order was for a 50 person party and I went with 2 dozen tres leches and 3 dozen cupcakes designed into a golf themed birthday cake.
The Delivery and Product:
The Bakeshop ladies delivered on time and were completely non-​intrusive to the party, like ghosts, it was crazy! Anyways, they came with cute (rented) displays for the tres leches and the product in a container that allowed it to be easily refrigerated until consumption. And then the moment of truth… opening the lid of the box to the cupcake cake was the best feeling of relief and joy in the world. The cake was literally PERFECT! Between the green frosting, the chocolate hole, and the cake pop golf ball and the cute little flag it was just adorable. Anyways, I had to fend people off for a couple hours from the desserts and.
The Moment of Truth and Candles
When it came time for the candles and dessert everyone loved it. In fact, the tres leches were gone in minutes. Literally minutes. Everyone I know is a health conscious eater and they were gone in minutes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my particular group of friends react that way. The cupcakes (Red Velvet and Vanilla) were demolished as well. I got to take one cupcake home for a friend who couldn’t make the party and that was only becuase I hid it in the back of the refrigerator. That good.
Needless to say, Bakeshop was the icing on a really great and special evening. It was so easy to order, the delivery was on time and the presentation was very nice. Couldn’t have asked for a better bakery experience on this special occasion!
