I have had terrible spider veins with them being especially awful in my ankles and feet. I wore high heals to work every day for over 30 years, and thought I was destined to hide my legs and feet for the rest of my life. April was able to undo the 63 years of damage in two sessions! I am no longer embarrassed to show my legs and feet! Thank you so much April!

I went to the Jones location today because the other location closer to my house was not available for my 2^nd Microneedeling treatment that I purchased from Groupon.
The reception area is very comfortable, but I did not have to wait long. The receptionist was very nice and offered me water. My aesthetician was April, she was wonderful and explained what she was doing as she did the treatment. She applied a special cream to my face to numb it before starting and another cream after completing an area which really helped to reduce the redness and aid in the healing process. April was very knowledgeable about skin care treatments and products. I really liked the 1^st girl I had at their other location but I am going to see April for my remaining 3 treatments and any future. I did forget the address and called them while on the way and the receptionist was great at giving me the address and mentioning that they were located in the Jones Professional Plaza. Unlike some other reviews once I had the address I had no problem finding the place.

I had spider veins treated with laser. The treatment was gentle and effective. Made an appt to return in six weeks.

So I picked up a deal from Living Social for 3 laser treatments. I have pesky spider veins, everywhere, my legs and face. I like Avea because of the price and actual service received. It’s a true bargain with good results. Now the service is sketchy, in that, sometimes they’ll call you the day before your appointment and sometimes they won’t. I also came in once and nobody was working up front to know a customer entered. But these things are easily dealt with, especially when you are greeted, everyone is friendly. Iryna has been working on me for my past 4 visits. She even talked me into buying a second package for the same price. You can rest assured that she plays everything safe, which is best, especially when you’re dealing with your precious skin. I’d like to also give props on the waiting room, it’s a nice, comfortable place to relax before your treatment.

I went to Avea Wellness center because they had a Groupon for a Brazilian wax for only $ 20. This is an amazing deal, especially considering Groupon takes a 50% cut from that, so the esthetician is only making about $ 10 on the session.
I thought the front desk staff was nice and the esthetician was knowledgable. She finished the Brazilian in little time, but did a good and thorough job. She was very nice and easy to talk to and I would definitely go back.
The only bad things that I would say are that the location isn’t the best and the office seemed hard to find.

Another Living Social fail. When will I learn? I purchased a 3 pack of dermalogica «facials», I’m putting facials in paranthesis because I’m baffled how they can call them that. My first experience I was met with a rude front desk person, she didn’t even crack a smile or even try to pretend she liked her job. She was more concerned with the Real Housewives on the TV behind her. I had the same experience with her all 3 times I went there. They don’t except tips on debit cards, so I had asked her for change, she made it a big deal. Anyways onto the esthetician, she was a nice girl, but I felt she was very inexperienced, I didn’t feel like I had a facial, I felt like I had my face washed about 5 times, there was a lot of downtime, and then when she attempted to do extractions, she used her fingers with tissue paper. Now I’ve always been told it’s not good to use your fingers? And she hurt! I had tears. Also, when she put the bright lamp over my face, she didnt even cover my eyes, it was pretty much like a flashlight in my eyeballs. She was really rough as well, I’m no delicate flower, but I want to feel relaxed when I’m getting pampered. It was almost like getting spit washed by your mother. This med spa is an extension if you will of the pain clinic next door, so when you call for an appt, that’s who answers. I suggest the physician that is the medical director of this med spa either stick with his pain clinic or tighten up the staff in the med spa.
