Worst wedding reception I have ever been to in my life… and I’m a former assistant of a wedding planner. To start out, you enter a dimly lit room with pictures of other couples getting married on the walls. The centerpieces are plastic flowers thrown in a tumbler of water with a light at the bottom and the dance floor is on the other side of the room, mostly secluded from the guests. If you don’t spring for the extra bar package, then the only drinks that’ll be served during your reception is lemon water, raspberry iced tea and a crystal light tasting fruit punch. When they finally do serve dinner(which was the only thing not their fault as the bride and groom photo session ran late) you’re directed to a buffet with a choice of three soggy salads and cold sides and entrees left to heat with warming trays. This isn’t even the worst part about my evening. No, the worst part was the HORRIBLEDJ. Not only did he keep a revolving playlist of very outdated songs, but he hardly played anything in it’s entirety. If that weren’t bad enough, he would get through a task like the father/daughter dance and loudly check it off to the guests. Worst of all, there were several women that weren’t interested in participating in the bouquet toss and rather than let it slide, he was rude and went out of his way to point them out INDIVIDUALLY with a snide comment attached to the guests. Brides and grooms beware! As a guest, seriously disappointed in this place! 12/16/2011(Response to Owner’s Comments) I’d like to note that I WAS A GUEST at this wedding and that the married couple may or may not have been satisfied with what they received. However, as a guest,(and living in a world where television shows like«Four Weddings» are prevelant) I should hope that no other couple getting married, especially the bride, would want a subpar wedding reception to accompany their day. The owner notes that the couple paid only $ 3,150.00 for what they received and that was the reason behind their barely there service and incentives. Also, the owner points out that the drinks provided and the horrible centerpieces were FREE. Wrong. Those items were included in the base cost of $ 3,150.00. Had the bride and groom wished to upgrade from there, they would have paid more. I don’t even work for this business, and I know more about it than the owner. Moreover, people, this is Las Vegas. There are a million and one wedding chapels and reception sites that don’t charge much and work with couples the entire way. TRUSTME! If these ridiculous excuses are a reason to back up every problematic thing that I’ve pointed out already, then this is exactly why websites like this exist. Also, my willingness to write a review in the hopes that either, service changes or people steer clear of this place is not hostility in the slightest. I’m unsure why I have to be gracious about being a guest at this wedding when I paid over $ 250.00 for my wedding gift(the wedding flowers) and was treated horribly by the hired staff and unimpressed with the entire venue/event. In fact, as a GUEST, I would think that my opinion matters more, otherwise people would get married in a solitary fashion at City Hall and waive the $ 3,150.00 fee. Excuses can only get you so far in life before you have to own up to your shortcomings or be prepared to close your business down for good.
