My home warranty company sent them out due to a problem with my air conditioner. They did show up at the time they were supposed to but the tech said the capacitor was bad and needed to be replaced. He said my unit had a 70 in it but all he had was a 60 but it would be ok then when he started it back up it was still making the noise so he said the motor was bad and replaced it first with a used motor that made a worse noise than the original bad noise. He had to go to the parts store to get a new motor complaining the whole time that he had 4 other service calls to get to. I called my warranty company and told them about the capacitor and they said that was wrong and they called the company and told them a 70 had to be put back in my unit. The tech showed back up and I asked if he was putting a 70 capacitor back and he said he was. He finished up and left. I had him leave the old parts with me. When my husband got home from work he went up on the roof and looked and it didn’t look right. We ended up calling out another A/C company to make sure everything was done correctly. The paperwork I had from Accent Air stated a 70 capacitor had been installed. When the other company inspected my unit they advised us the wrong size capacitor was on my unit. That there was a 60 and the unit states it needs a 70. We had to pay $ 60 to Accent Air and another $ 198 to have the work done right. I called Accent Air and left them a message that there was a problem with the work their tech did but never received a call back. Shoty work inferior parts and the tech was very unprofessional. If they were the last air conditioning company on the face of the earth I would learn to live without it. that’s how bad they are.

First, this company was also provided to us by our home warranty to fix our heater. Getting hold of someone in their office was a chore. We had to keep leaving messages and did not receive a call back. When we finally were able to talk to someone to schedule an appointment, she gave us our date and time window. When the time window came and went we called the office. Told us they had gotten backed up and would need to reschedule. So we did. They came out at the next scheduled appointment as planned. They said they had fixed the problem. That night, every time the heater turned on it sounded like a small explosion on the top of our house. We called them back out to look at the heater. The time window came and went again and when we were finally able to get through to a less than helpful office, they were suddenly on their way. They got there looked at the heater and said the reason it was exploding like that is it was too dirty and that the type of filter we were using was not providing enough air flow and tried to sell me different filters. I told them to clean it and I would look elsewhere for filters. They said that was not covered by the home warranty. I told them I didn’t care, I would pay for it. So they«cleaned» the heater. More explosions with the heater occurred that night also. We called them back again. We got our day and window again. When our time window came and went again, we had the technician’s number and called him. He told us we were not on his list for that day. WHAT?! We called the office back, which was not willing to help me on this day, and to reschedule. I told her to cancel everything. I called our home warranty back, told them of my problem. They allowed me to call anyone of my choosing. We called Deke’s. They came out when they said they would. They told us the explosions were coming from the new part that was not installed properly and from the igniter that was not positioned correctly. Basically the gas was leaking from the new part and when the area would fill up with gas it would ignite causing the small explosion we kept hearing. He also told us that the«dirty» heater and filters were basically BS and were add-ons to service calls. We have not had any problems since. Our home warranty now has Action Air on a DONOTCALL list for us now.
