I had no idea that it was even possible to find a gas station in town that didn’t sell gasoline from the middle east. But low and behold right under my nose the whole time was Sinclair Oil. Conveniently located right in my own neighborhood where I pass by everyday. And it is name brand gas too. Much better then the generic stuff I have been buying the past 5 years. I’ll tell you what. Now that I have a steady income the staff at this local 7−11/Sinclair will be seeing a lot more of me. Today is Veterans day and I’m turning over a new leaf and for now on all the gas I buy in town will be domestically produced gasoline supporting America and keeping the dollar right here in America. No more oil from unstable parts if the globe for me. For now on I’ll be supporting America with my gas purchases and putting my money where my mouth is. I already applied for the green Sinclair card which gives you 10¢ off for each gallon purchased. I hope I get approved. I’m a firm believer in voting with your dollars to promote world peace. Sinclair is one if the last corporations left that keep the common good ahead of corporate profits and corporate greed. I didn’t think any oil companies were honest these days but this one threw me a curve ball. I am extremely impressed. All the oil they sell is from America. I’m giving it one star because Shawn the attendant dropped everything he was doing mid transaction at the register just to have meaningless small talk with his friend who walked in the door. I was paying for my stuff when Shawn yelled so loud to greet his friend that I was startled. Talk about terrible customer service. He made me feel like such a valued customer that night.
