************this review is for the Walmart on VALLEYDRIVE. I posted to this one on accident****************** I had the worst experience at this Walmart here today! I wish I had the option for a negative rating I know it’s Walmart but come on they need to hire more competent«managers» this is the reason for this review Sorry for the bad grammar and punctuation, I jotted this down while it was still fresh in my Mind before I called there corporate complaint line Bought some hair clippers today while I was shopping. I Took them back because they were the wrong brand(the clipper in the box were the wrong brand as the one one I taught I was buying I shouldn’t have bought it in the first place because it looked like it was a previous return, it seamed like it was repackaged but was the last of that model they had) At customer service the associate told the manager the situation(the fat lady that’s in charge of the register associates?) then went and told Angela(her boss?) what was happening she kept saying there the wrong brand. So I said«yeah that’s the problem» then she told Angela there used. I said ok now this is a bigger problem so I said if I could have store credit. Angela said yes and walked off I was walking back to the register and the associate that was gonna refund mentioned to another associate that this is the third time people have gotten the wrong merchandise and that she and the other associate she was talking to should be the only ones accepting returns because no one else is checking and that she’s always getting yelled at by customers. Hearing that brought a bitter taught to me. I asked to just to refund my money. So she told the first manager the manager came at me with an attitude and told me «Angela said your getting store credit» I said«I» brought up the store credit solution and if she won’t help me then I need to talk to her. The«manager» gave a grunt and got on the phone and paged Angela then walked off. I waited for a good 15 – 20 minutes when she walked back in my direction and I asked her for a follow up on what’s happening she said with a smart ass attitude she already paged Angela so I said it be nice to touch base with the costumer instead of just walking off. So about 30 minutes have passed and I’m still waiting then«Jacob customer service manager» came up and kept looking at the merchandise so I’m getting frustrated by that time and said if Angela is the only one qualified to issue a refund. He said he was but isn’t gonna do it he kept looking at the box confused. Getting frustrated I said if there was an exact same model of what I wanted to buy I wanna take that. He left to to see(I’m presuming) then came back with hair clippers that we’re exactly like the ones that were found in the box that I didn’t want. So Jacob kept looking at both boxes trying to figure something out. he was trying to match both boxes saying there weren’t enough guards trying to insinuate I was doing something seedy. Then after he couldn’t figure anything out he walked off. By this time it’s now been about an hour then Angela finally shows up again she said to me it’s the wrong brand I said I know we’ve all covered this already she called the first manager over and said the other manager«Jacob» found the box the other clippers came from she’s gonna check the surveillance cameras and to «convenience me» she is gonna refund my money. So I said lets look at the cameras together if you think I’m doing something shady. She said it wasn’t necessary and told the other manager to refund my money and just to add icing to the cake the manager issuing the refund showed me the receipt for the $ 37 pointing at it with her middle finger so I said«pointing with your middle finger huh» loud enough for her boss to hear that was standing right next to me The only way I could see any justification for this bad excuses for managers behaviors would be that I kept overhearing them freak out to each other over a compliance audit there having at that store the next day. What a pathetic group of people!

i come here a lot and MOST of the workers are awesome at helping us out. But yesterday when the workers knew i needed help, they just stood there watching me. Then when I went to the counter to where she was standing, I smiled at her and she just gave me the ugliest look. If you’re having a freaken bad day dnt show it to the customers. Other than her sour looking face, the place is great because it is not so busy. Maybe because this Walmart is further away from the inner part of the city.

We went inside to look for local foods. Selection was okay, but mostly frozen or produce. Ended up with frozen enchiladas that were very tasty but would have preferred fresh chile and more products from Hatch and other local producers.

its ok here came here from california once to pick up some midnight snacks, and buy some cob salads and do a little grocery shopping its crowded all the time in the middle of the day the places are like whoa can i get through or what? , people are rude too but some cashiers are nice when the self checkout isnt as crowded

Since they are«fairly» new, they were out of a lot of things. Space on the shelf but no product, or item was on display but no where to be found if you wanted to purchase that particular style or color. Overall, pretty good for a walmart!

A five star Walmart, if there ever was one! Not just the best Walmart in Las Cruces, but the best one in the entire region, including El Paso. Really! I’m not a Walmart hater, which is rare for someone on Unilocal,but I admit that there are locations and times in which they are just cesspools of humanity. And then I visited THIS location on a Saturday afternoon and couldn’t believe it: The place was full, yet it remained clean and comfortable, the checkout lines were fast and efficient, it was out of this world! If you can go into a Walmart during a busy Saturday and leave not hating everything and everyone, that’s when you know it was a 5 star Walmart.
