I really wanted to like Uno more because I’m such a big fan of Chicago Deep Dish pizza, but truth be told I found the pizza here to be just alright. I was in town for a show and had a couple of hours to kill, so I decided to have an early dinner at Uno, a franchise I had only previously tried at an airport. I really liked the Chicago-y décor and the atmosphere at the bar was great, if there were more/bigger TVs this would be a good place to watch sports. I wanted the full Uno experience, so I ordered the Numero Uno pizza, which is the signature pizza and some of the sweet red chili wings, which struck me as a uniqueish item for some reason. The wings were okay, they were crispy and saucy, but there wasn’t a whole lot of flavor to the sauce. Then the Numero Uno pizza arrived, it had good depth and plenty of toppings, though I wish it had more cheese, it really felt light in the cheese department, but tasted good overall. Actually, the pizza tasted much better reheated later that night, which is unusual since pizza typically goes the other way. It was an okay experience, though I don’t see myself going back very much since we have a BJ’s in El Paso, and I always enjoy BJs.

Subpar service and an incredibly long wait for subpar food. There are a few vegetarian options on the menu but no vegan. I ended up getting a portobello sandwich and asked for no cheese or mayo and roasted veggies on the side. The onions in the roasted veggies dish weren’t cooked at all. The hubs got a flatbread with roasted eggplant but all he could taste was the olive oil. The crust was really good though. The only one fully happy with her meal was the five year old who made her own pepperoni pizza. Overall this wasn’t worth the money and we probably won’t be coming back.

Had dinner here tonight with my little family and two of my sisters. My chicken pasta was delicious, the hubby’s ribs left a lot to be desired but it is a pizza/pasta restaurant. Service was good. What bothered me was $ 12 for 2 teas and 2KIDS lemonades. That’s a whole other meal!

if i could give no stars i would, so we will say that the 1 star was earned by that gorgeous smile of the very helpful girl at the front. so i tried this place for the first time tonight, and to say that i was disappointed would b a giant understatement. i spent $ 40 on 2 pizzas and 2 salads. when i saw the pizzas i almost turned around and walked out because they were only slightly bigger than a personal sized pizza, and they weren’t deep dish, they just had a bigger crust. but i figured«i might as well try it cuz its definitely possible that they are worth it», boy was i wrong… the salads were ok(and bigger than the pizzas) but it seemed like whoever made em was in a hurry, so there was HUGE slices of onion and tomato. the Numero Uno Deep Dish was basically just tomato and cheese, and was soggy as hell because of all the tomato. and finally a Farmers Market Deep Dish that had big chewy/tough chunks of eggplant instead of thin slices like the picture showed. if this is the normal quality of the food at that place then i cant see how they have stayed in business for so long, because i personally have no interest in ever going there again, unless the introduce a new special that comes with free Bloweys or something. but i honestly think that Little Caesars deep dish is better, and that is sad. but one good thing did come from going to Unos. because the pizzas were so small i was positive there wasnt going to be enough food for everyone so i decided to stop at Papa Murphy’s on the way home and picked up a random pizza. the Herbed Tuscan Chicken was on sale for $ 10 for a large, and that thing was fucking bomb. it was at least as big as the 2 from Unos combined, cost just over ¼th the price, and was waaaaaaaay better than the other 2(everyone thought so). so ya, if your thinking about getting pizza, i say save a bunch of money and avoid Unos and just go to Papa Murphy’s, or anywhere else. seriously.

Worst Uno’s ever! Very poor service. Inattentive staff and managers. Went there for lunch today(1:15pm). Sat in the bar area at a table. It was not very busy. Staff walked by several times but did not come over to help me. Manager was sitting at the bar across the room and did nothing. After 15 minutes of being ignored I got up and left. Not only did this Uno’s loose out on a $ 25+ lunch service but they lost a customer for life!

Was disappointed last night. Ordered the sampler platter and the sample size guacamole on my platter was brown! Sent it back and was told that all the guacamole for the night was that Color(so much do freshness!) unfortunately for me, the rest of the food on the platter tasted and looked«warmed up»! Nothing fresh on the platter! Had to ask for a glass for my beer. Got my chilled glass but on 2nd beer no chilled glass ;(hmmmmm… The only highlight of the Eve was the company I was with, to share some laughs. Don’t know that we will be sharing any more moments over«happy hour» here.

Food was good bit pricey service was mediocre, our server was not pleased when we asked to put 2-tables together instead of squeezing into a booth, did not bring any silver ware to the table had to ask for refills on drinks, brought appetizers no plates to share them eith the table, had to wait for ticket. Only good think was the skillet cookie Sunday

I’ve been here twice, during my visits to Las Cruces for work. I’d actually give this place 3 ½ stars, with room for ‘fine tuning’. The first visit, on a weekday around 6:30 p.m. our group went to a booth in the bar. We waited for 20 minutes, and a server never came to our table, so finally we waved at the bartender to get someone’s attention. We only ordered Margaritas on the rocks — they were watery and took far too long to arrive since there were only about 10 patrons in the bar. Decided to skip appetizers due to slow service and weak cocktails. The second visit, I ordered the 2 for $ 12, with a herbed chicken breast spinach salad and personal size deep dish pepperoni for dinner take out, around 7:00 p.m. on a weeknight. When I walked in I was promptly and cheetfully greeted by the hostess. She was very efficient, and my food came out quickly, in 2 separate large boxes. They didn’t have a bag to put everything in, and I was walking to my hotel… a bit inconvenient but not a huge problem, just awkward. When I opened my salad, there was NO chicken at all, but the spinach was very fresh, as were all of the other ingredients. I attribute the lack of chicken to signals crossed between the cook and the hostess… however, it was delicious even without the chicken. The pizza was very good-the sauce was the perfect consistency and the crust tasty goodness. I’d visit again since their menu is so extensive, with so many options outside of your average pizza place: steak, seafood, ribs, appetizers, desserts. For fine tuning, I’d coach the staff to be certain to welcome the customers, make eye contact and a quick ‘just finishing up and be with you in a few minutes’ if you can’t get to us right away is appreciated and goes a long way. The Hostess(I didn’t get her name, I’m sorry) deserves recognition/a spot award by management for having this mastered. No bag, no chicken-no problem-because she was approachable, attentive, and continued to acknowledge me as I sat and waited for my take out. Great job!

Purchased a Walnut, Blueberry, Goat cheese salad and what I got I can get as a side salad somewhere else. $ 16 a bit expensive for what I got. Took it to go, they had no bag, I had to request utensils and my to go cup of ice tea had no ice in it. As convenient as it is next to hotel where I was staying, next time I will drive to a different restaurant. I have eaten salads from fast food Wendy’s which are more tastier and comes with chicken for less then half the price.

Pizza to the max. I’ve been here a few times now and this was an ok visit. But then again so we’re the others. Arrived with a party of 4 one member with a rolling walker. Sat at a booth and then moved to a table since the walker wouldn’t fit in the booth area. Ordered and 2 orders arrived wrong. Ordered a steak with nothing on the plate. Sadly it came with grilled onions and mushrooms on the plate under the steak. Like they were trying to hide it. Had to send it back due to allergies. Ordered a meal combo with a Chicago pizza and wanted chicken instead of sausage and was told they couldn’t do chicken but could do hamburger and a lettuce wedge salad. Order arrived but salad was not a wedge. Asked waitress and was told they were out of wedges do they changed it to a «tossed salad»(without asking me first) I can’t say I’m impressed. The Chicago stuffed pizza had so much sauce on it I had to pull 80% of the sauce off to eat it. Not impressed spending 75.00 with a tip I should be impressed and happy. Go to Dions or valley pizza for pizza and if you want a wedge salad I may suggest the Golden Corral.

Ok we went to unos in Las Cruces New Mexico. Believe me it’s not like the one in Chicago! Although the waitress was unbelievably friendly great service. The table we sat at was extremely dirty I wiped it with my napkin and it came out black. I had told my husband that it smelled dirty and I can feel that the table was dirty so I wiped it and the napkin came out dirty. My husband mentioned to me that we should have sat on the other side the restaurant side instead of the bar side. The bar side was dirty! I could smell it. The pizza was okay. The salad was tasty. We won’t be going back there again.

So we didn’t have a really stellar experience here either. Ordered a sausage pizza and they’re out of sausage. On a Saturday night. In a pizza joint. Then they were out of some of the beers on the menu. But we found beer we would drink and ordered both the tall(ostensibly 22 oz) and the not tall(ostensibly 16 oz). Toward the end of the beer, one of the guys said«There’s the same amount of beer in either one of those glasses. It’s just distributed differently.» So we filled the 22 oz glass with H2O and then poured it into an empty 16 oz glass. Guess what? It did not overflow. Showed our trick to the bartender who really didn’t appreciate it and responded with a couple of smart-@$$ed comments. We won’t be going back. But if you do go in there, order the 16 oz beer. It’s cheaper and you get just as much.

I ordered a glass of whisky neat at the bar so I was shocked when my drink arrived looking watered down and I could clearly taste water. Don’t mess with a girl’s whiskey! The bartender got me a new drink when I questioned her about it but I will not make the mistake of getting my nightcap here again.

With a 40+ minute cook time it’s hard to offer a good review. Apparently a chicken Caesar is dressing free. The gluten free veggie pizza was good as was the nice employee who took my order.

Honestly, I expected much more from this place, I was so wrong, the service was poor, everyone gave me attitude and was rude, the drinks were not mixed right, salad was awful and they were out of stuff. Completely awful, won’t go there again.

Nice place and they were open Sunday night when we couldn’t find a local mexican restaurant anywhere. Service was fast and our waitress(Amanda) & the greeter were both friendly. Food was tasty too but read the ingredient list carefully do you know what you’re ordering!

We went for dinner the other day and my wife ordered a salad. The salad was partially rotten lettuce and when my wife showed the server that the lettuce and tomato were rotten and asked to exchange it for something else, the sever replied«like what?» Which threw our experience into a funk. The replacement salad also had rotten lettuce in it, which tells me they didn’t even take the time to ensure the replacement was up to par. If you want pizza, their pizzas are good, particularly the Chicago style crust, but you pay higher than average price. The atmosphere is great for a LC restaurant, but I expect better service and fresher ingredients and care from the kitchen along with those higher prices.
