Widow Brown’s Restaurant

We have never tried Window Brown’s before and met friend there for breakfast. It is clean, friendly and very good! Very reasonable too!
I would highly recommend it for breakfast!

I was actually really surprised with this place. Outside seems more like simple bare mom & pop cafeteria type however inside was more like a mini restaurant. Very clean & updated! Mini bar, great service, not skimpy or cheap on the food. My salad was huge & I kept eyeballing my friends plates as well! I definitely recommend if your looking to go to a nice quiet restaurant without the high prices! They don’t skimp on their drinks either!

We live literally just down the street and we had never been here before… it’s like a hidden gem! Brandon’s already mentioned coming back here at least 3 times! The service and food were both excellent and they have such a wide selection of dishes it’s perfect for anyone! I had the spaghetti and Brandon had a beef dish. We also tried the chicken and waffles for an appetizer YUM!

We try to come here at least 1 time a week… its a bargain on food, a good mom and pop place, where can you get a glass of sangria for 1.99? and a complete dinner for 2 with beverages and dessert for under $ 25.00 you just can not… I took my brother here a few weeks back and he enjoyed himself… the Liver and Onions if you like this is like the way My mom made it for me too when I was a kid. Everything fresh and delish… you can not beat the prices…

The good-​huge menu, tons of choices. A very «comfort home food» type of place. Clean and good service.
The not so good– my picky kid expects spaghetti when you order spaghetti, they brought linguini with a chunky pepper and onion sauce, kid didn’t touch it. I ordered the Sunday special, roasted turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. It was barely warm, stuffing was like mush and bland, mashed potatoes were good. My husband ordered Cuban pork which was a huge helping and he said it was unique and flavorful.

Nothing fancy, but consistent with great prices!
Where else can you get a breakfast for less than $ 5?! Not even most fast food places!
Great family owned restaurant that makes me feel like I’m back home in my small town.
Have been here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed! Their grits are really good as are the home fries.
The service has always been exceptional.
Definitely recommend checking it out.

I have been going to widow brown Resturant for 9 years now and you can’t beat the price for the quality of food you get. If you happen to get Penny, Lynn or Michele as your waitness you will never find better service anywhere. They are personable and treat you like you are the only customer in the world. I highly recommend this resturant for one of the best breakfast’s in the area especially for the price & Service.

I have been dining for breakfast and lunch at Widow Browns for about 10 years now. It is still my «Go To» place for a quality breakfast or lunch in the Seminole/​Largo area near Largo Mall.
Today, in fact I stopped in with my daughter while Christmas shopping. We ate a late breakfast of a country benedict for myself (Biscuit, Sausage, Poached Eggs & Cheese covered in sausage gravy with Hash Browns) and a German Omelet for my daughter (3 egg omelet with mushrooms sausage and provolone cheese, also ordered with Hash Browns).
Both meals were hot, plentiful and yummy, the service as always was attentive and professional and the price for two was just under $ 16.00 Plus Tip. You cannot beat that at any other breakfast joint for high end breakfast selections.
Widow Browns may not be the fine dining that some New Yorker who reviewed below was looking for, but it is now and always has been darn good honest food, delivered at a reasonable price with a huge selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees.
Just go there if you are in the area…

Great value for the price, plus I enjoy the new healthier menu options. The quality of food is fantastic. Full bar for those looking to indulge. My girlfriend said the bloody Mary’s are killer! Go see the staff and enjoy your meal!

Its an older crowd but food is good… an all American diner. I enjoy the customer service. which is important to me the older i get. Friendly servers good size portions. Fairly fast and fresh food.

First time here. I thought it was going to be a greasy spoon. As it turns out the inside is much better then the outside appearance. Wait staff was very friendly, the food was very reasonably priced (breakfast under $ 10) I would definitely eat there again.

This place seems to cater to seniors on a budget whose taste buds have diminished with age. Prices are low but so is the quality of the food. None of it tastes even remotely homemade. You can find frozen entrees in the supermarket that are more satisfying than anything you’ll eat here.
