Walmart Supercenter

This walmart is sketchy. We only go because it’s the closest to our apartment. There’s always people peeling out in the parking lot. There aren’t many registers open when we go. Self checkout line is out of control. Definitely not my favorite Walmart but I will say, the staff is very friendly.

Went to the counter in the sports section to pick up some ammo. I found a female clerk with earbuds hooked up to her cell, sucking a lollipop, and then started to comb her hair. I tried to get her attention — but the earbuds didn’t help Ppaco123me. She walk in front of me, ignoring my presence and place her purse in a lower cabinet and her sweater in another cabinet — all the while ignoring my presence. When I did get her attention she advises me she will have to log onto her computer.
I advised a «manager» and was advised they were sorry. So much for «customer service»?
Now here is how I am going to get «customer respect». My wife is a shareholder and will lodge a complaint to the corporate. Any bonuses afforded to the Store Manager is going to be non-​existent. They lost a TV sale two weeks ago for same lack of customer service. These employees haven’t figured out, without customers– they won’t have a job.

A nice decent 24 hour Walmart you can visit. If you are a night owl like me and prefer to do your shopping around 3 am, you should definitely come to this Walmart. At this time there isn’t much people around. So you can stroll down all the isles if you wish and no need to be stuck in lines. This is one of my favorite Walmarts to go to. They offer money gram, money orders, walmart to walmart, and even express money gram payments for reasonable prices. There is also a Subway inside of you need to kill 2 birds with 1 stone ;)

The cashier wasn’t very kind and pleasant as I thought she would be. Whenever I went too collect the bags, she would tell me that they weren’t finished yet. What does that mean? You have successfully put the items into a bag and moved to a different bag. I was not only aghast, but shocked. There was a sign behind her that clearly stated that she needed to smile. There were frowns! So many frowns!

It is an unwritten law that we have to scope out Walmarts we haven’t visited before. The store was spacious and clean. If I had needed assistance, I could have found several employees. I got a Wonder Woman nightgown… cause that’s how I roll.

Brand new walmart just opened in the largo area. The store is bigger than most neighborhood markets and was pretty clean. That’s where the good stops.
It really irks me when managers and associates don’t know their own coupon policy. I always coupon within policy limits and do not try to do anything unethical. I came here last night for the first time trying to do a bit of couponing and the cashier and manager were totally clueless. They denied me even though I was following the policy. They refused to follow their own rules. They acted like I was doing something wrong. The cashier said «Ma’am, you’re trying to do things in a way they aren’t meant to be done».
I won’t be coming back here.

We’ve stopped by here several times since it’s recent opening. Firstly, I don’t know who designed their parking lot but BEWARE! To say that it’s counter-​intuitive would be an understatement.
The store itself is huge. The aisles are very narrow, especially in the housewares section. On my last two visits, the frozen foods section was only 30% stocked, if that. I’m sure that they’re just getting their sea legs from the opening but this is the world’s largest retailer and you would expect them, if anyone, to hit the ground running.
I will continue to go to this location despite the vexing parking lot to find items that I can’t find elsewhere.

Once you take out your feelings for the company and realize that it is simply just a store selling stuff you realize that a Walmart is a Walmart. The only real difference is the level of cleanliness and since this one is only a month old it isn’t bad.

Yes I know… it’s a Walmart, so what?
Well, this is a brand new Super Center that opened around January 15^th, 2014. It’s clean, it’s big, the employees smile and ask if they can help you, kinda nice really.
I can only hope the «newness» doesn’t fade too fast.
It’s located behind Cheddar’s restaurant off of Roosevelt Blvd, just east of US 19.

I live right around the corner from this Wally World and was very much looking forward to the store opening. No more hikes to Pinellas Park, YAY!
Nope. Personally, I think this store sucks. No gas, liquor store, tire/​oil change, or outside garden department.
It does not seem like a «super store» to me.
Huge let down frown :-(

Yet again another Wal-​Mart that opened in the same day. This one is just off of 19 and Roosevelt and a bit tucked back but this Wal-​Mart is massive! The parking lot is huge so you should be able to find a spot on those busy weekends to come!
The staff is nice here also and again it is a brand new location so everything is nicely organized like it should be. Enjoy it while it last. Plenty of staff on board right now but that is like any new retail store that goes up.
Prices are like any other Wal-​Mart and not much more to say about this retail giant other than this is now the closest Super Center to me and I no longer have to go to the congested one on 19 in Clearwater
