The Shag Cuts & Color

I have extended stays in Florida throughout the year. Needed a haircut for event and was recommended to try the Shag, Rhonda or Dejah. Connected with Rhonda who was able to fit me in despite her busy schedule. Very impressed with cut for a first timer, she did a great job. She is my go to girl when in Florida.

I have been going to Shag for over a year now. A Philly girl, I was worried about finding a stylist. A few really bad cuts/​color from supposedly «great» salons in Largo and Clearwater, I was ready to book a flight to get my cuts back in Philly!!! Then I was introduced to Shag and I could not be happier!!! Thank you Rhonda (& Ray) for saving my hair and for consistently giving me great cuts and color! (Oh, if you read that bad review… that lady is certifiably Crazy! Seriously!!).

Absolutely the best looks for a great price!!! Once Saks Fifth Avenue closed I was searching desperately for a new salon, this place is a hidden gem!!! Love the service and the attention! I have received more compliments on my styles and color since I have been coming here than I ever did when I frequented the higher end over priced salons. Brava The Shag!!! Love you!!!

I love this place. I had bad hair for 13 years and I came to Dejah and Rhonda for help and they have made me look great! highly recommended! it is the best Salom EVER!

Be aware my Latinas, If you have curly or wavy hair i would not recommend place… i have curly hair went for a shaggy and got my bangs cut no style what so ever and after a wk my hair was so frizzy and dull and unmanageable, of course the only thing that she said she cut was my bangs and i don’t even know what she did in the back, the rest of the hair was not touch or trimmed or refresh, she gave me a refund of $ 28 but that to me, at this point, doesn’t even matter… PS also she did the thing they do with the scissors for volume that is a big no, no it makes your hair frizzy and hard to style thats only for straight hair…
Look at the TIP section the owner and her friends are bashing me there as well, i have pics in my Unilocal page to prove it. because the owner keep deleting them.

Its sad that Dejah is such a nice person compared to you, you were the one sending the insulting msgs, I’ve NEVER insulted you. I dont even know who you are and for being a hairstylist and an owner you have no ethics what so ever, learn to talk to ppl…
I was frustrated with the cut that i got from Dejah… you guys say you are the Shaggy professional salon…
Unfortunately i put my trust in You guys and you guys failed to do so i left with a bad haircut and wet hair because your girl had an old lady with chemicals on her hair and she was rushing i told her NOT to cut my bangs and she did it anyways as a matter a fact she didn’t even ask me. i have never had bangs since 1985 why would i want bangs now that I’m
