Been in this place a couple of time and always seems to be DRAMA going on! Customers getting to drunk! When does a the bar say NO? A customer is to Drunk? And it is so smoky yes u might just want to throw your clothes out! Very clickish but if u know THEGROUP they seem to be friendly but if not you barely get serviced! Don’t know anything about any employee problem but the last time I was there some lady was so drunk and loud outside with one the bar servers they where trying to calm her down she was scream about someone stealing her man and the next thing I knew they had her at the bar serving her more double shot drinks(I watch them make the drinks) as she continued to carry on! I left and will never be back. Someone is going to get hurt there or leaving there and it could be your family member or you… they need someone who is responsible to say NOYOUHAVEHADENOUGH&NOTWORRYABOUTTHEBOTTOMLINEMORETHENTHEPEOPLEWHOCOMETHERE! This bar was a pleasant surprise. I have to admit I wasnt optimistic because of its location in a strip mall, the exterior of the bar, and the smoking aspect. That being said, my friends and I had a phenomenal time! From the regulars who made us feel welcome, the extensive menu for a bar, and the overall vibe, I would highly recommend this place. We played trivia which is held every Monday and Tuesday night at 7. The icing on the cake though was our bartenders. Friendly, spectacular, and truly professional doesn’t begin to describe how amazing they were. Thank You Debbie and Janelle! The next time we visit from Kentucky, we will surely stop here.

okay I have to admit I do love dive bars. They always have my favorite lighting nice and low and ice cold beer. this one fits all the categories and more. Kelly the bartender was very friendly. She recommended the Reuben which my boyfriend got and I have to admit it’s the best one in town. I got the blackened chicken sandwich and although it was very good the bun could have been fresher. There are so many things on the menu that I want to try, so we will definitely be back.

Fun bar, but it’s a shame it gets ruined by so much cigarette smoke. Wish bars wouldn’t allow people to smoke in their establishments, it makes them start scoring higher on the trashy scale.(In my personal opinion)

The first thing I can say is that that corner plaza would be a good place to open a bar! The first time I was there with a friend, we got there about an hour before the karaōke, we ordered drinks and got them timely, then ordered food which came timely and was very good. I loved it and thought I’ve found a good neighborhood bar! Apparently that time was a real fluke! The second time I met some friends there and a girl came and took my drink order and brought it promptly. My friends left a little while later and one left a drink he had just started. I finished mine after they left and waited a good 15 — 20 minutes for a server to get me another drink, finally I started drinking the one my friend left behind. I finished it and still a server had not checked on me, and all the glasses and stuff was still sitting there from my friends. Finally a half hour or so later(I had started drinking a glass of water one of my friends left) a server finally came and took my drink order and I asked for a menu. The drink came pretty quickly as well as the menu. I decided what to order, waited, drank more of my friends left behind water and finally 20 – 25 minutes later the server came back and took my order,(food & drink). The food came in about 20 minutes and I asked the server to bring another drink. At least another 30 minutes went by and she came by and asked if I wanted anything else(no drink ever came), I told her I wanted my check and gave her my credit card to pay. I was stupid enough to go back there a couple of weeks later, I was out and hungry. The place was fairly busy, but I found a seat at the bar, right across from the register. For 20 minutes servers went by, always looking the other way and talking to each other, I was looking at a menu that was left there by a previous customer. I commented to the guy sitting next to me and he said it seemed they lost someone’s credit card they were looking all over for something. Of course the«manager» was doing karaōke as usual, instead of running the bar, the bartenders kept going over and talking to him, grabbing an occasional beer for another customer. I never got a drink or was even spoken to by a server or bartender. I commented to the guy next to me that this would be a really good place to open a bar! I think the manager should focus on running the bar and have someone else do the karaōke, he has been doing it every time I’ve been in, and it’s got to be the worst karaōke in the county, the sound system is terrible and he doesn’t seem to ever pay any attention to the singers volume, sometimes you can barely hear them and the sound quality is terrible, it would be hard for the best singer in town to sound good on that system and the junk mics he’s using. If you want to stand around and talk to friends and leave sober, and hungry, this is the place for you. I don’t think any of the employees have ever had any training in customer service, but then who would train them, the«manager» doesn’t seem to have a clue either! STAYAWAY!

I work third shift so after a long night of work I like to go relax with a cold beer and The Corner Bar is the place to go, from 9 – 12 just about everything is only $ 1 the bartender in the morning is a sweetheart, it’s a very social atmosphere, and you can even see some old school pro wrestlers there too

Food was quick but typical bar fare. Drinks were strong and the bartenders were very vigilant on keeping us happy! Karaōke was shockingly good — more good singers than bad! I will be coming back!

Yes, it is a bit smokey, like throw your clothes immediately into the washer when you get home smokey. But even as a non-smoker I didn’t find it THAT bad and besides, the warm staff and fun, friendly crowd are all compensation enough for some stinky jeans. And, to be fair, we were sitting in between two smoking tables. I know non smokers all have their personal level of tolerance, but I suggest you at least give this place a try unless you are hypersensitive. It really isn’t that bad and it’s such a great little neighborhood bar and they really care about addressing this issue. They have installed five smoke removal machines in the place and are really making a concerted effort to accommodate everyone. They take their karaōke seriously here and it shows. They have a full time karaōke stage, a solid sound system, great KJ’s and regular contests. Nothing fancy about the place but the ladies room is clean, the sound system is solid, the beer cold, and the staff and regulars friendly. They have a full food menu as well, although we have only had a midnight snack here of their home cut french fries and pork sandwich, both of which were simple, hot and satisfying. So come on fellow Non-Smokies; throw on some shorts and a T-shirt and give Corner Bar a try!

We went to Corner B&G for the 1st time, this past weekend. New to FL, we had been looking for a fun place to sing karaōke. They do have great karaōke and the KJ, Vito was great! Very personable and friendly. Having run a karaōke show back home in MA for almost 20 years, we know what makes a good show and Vito delivered. There were a lot of good singers too which is always nice. Great variety of songs to choose from and the sound is very good. The bartenders were friendly and quick to take our order. We got drinks and apps. Good selection of menu items and lots of «munchies» on the appetizer menu. Wide variety of beers and liquor so you can get whatever you like. The food was typical bar food, not bad. It may have actually been very good if not for the taste of cigarette smoke mixed with every bite. The ONE negative… the SMOKE! The second you get close to the entrance, it hits you. The entire bar is blanketed with very thick cigarette smoke. An hour in, our eyes were actually burning and watering. It was difficult to enjoy the food because it all tasted of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, unlike most of the rest of the country, FL allows smoking in bars so you don’t have any real choice there. All in all, we’d go back for drinks and karaōke but I’m not a fan of chewing on cigarette butts so we’ll skip the food from now on.

How do they get away with serving food and allowing smokers ?? I had heard the food was good. Went there ONE time. Smoke was horrendous. Had 5 people with me. Walked. NEVER again.

I’m a fan. Especially the KJ vito. Very humble man. It’s nice to go in somewhere and meet someone with true heart. Karaōke sound is also great…7 nights a week. They have many tvs to watch events. But the food… wohoa…The food is excellent. Especially the wings. I am serious. Best wings ever! Low to zero drama most of the time. Most of the people in there will treat you like family. … customers. .staff.. All great. Give it a try. Sidenote: *drink specials galore!!!

We recently moved to florida and love a good bar with pool, music and karaōke. We found the Corner Bar on Unilocal and tried it. We have been regulars for 2 weeks now. The karaōke is awesome and Vito the MC has a fantastic set up and puts on a great show every time. The bar is crowded and drinks are reasonable. We have been regulars and enjoy spending our time there. One issue I had every night we hung out there was that with the exception of Jewel, the other bar staff seemed very cold and unfriendly. Everytime we were there the young girl bartenders seemed unsocialble like they didnt want to be there. As a bar owner I found this immature and rude. Advice… Find new bartenders that actually like what they do.

Best bar in town. Great food, great jukebox, fantastic fun bartenders on all shifts. Monday night trivia and Tuesday night opinionation are fantastic fun with Jewels as your host from 7 – 9 followed by some of the best karaōke with Matt. Wednesday nights find Vito running the karaōke with lots of variety and fun. Fantastic food comes from the kitchen at all hours as they have the best cooks in the business. You can’t go wrong here any day of the week.

There was way too much nauseating tobacco smoke around 8:30pm last Sunday evening. I didn’t stick around for the 9pm karaōke. I suppose I’m a spoiled Californian.

My wife &2 teenage daughters decided to try this local neighborhood pub after hearing about its wide ranging menu. Who ever put the menu together is a genius. I have been a Chef for many Resorts in N.E., and as Chefs do, we tried several items… after waiting 15 minutes just to be acknowledged. Was’nt very busy, as the bartender was busy talking w/her boyfriend., doing shots. The food, when it arrived, was a mess. Greasy, no great pains in its preparation. The burgers were over cooked, wings under cooked. Restrooms were foul, to be polite. When we brought this to the bartenders attention, some Blonde haired woman came bursting out of what looked a small office and asked«What the hell is your problem» or should I say screamed, while trying to intimidate my family & myself. Arms crossed, foot stomping. you would think we kicked her cat or worse. Her face was firey red with anger, just spewing venom… The tension was so thick you could cut it with a chain saw, I kid you not. All of the patrons in the pub immediately got quiet, you could hear a pin drop. After showing her our plates, she smiled with an evil grin and said«If you don’t like my bar, take your ass someplace else». She has many anger issues, too many to be dealing with the public. All the while the other customers were trying not to have eye contact with this woman, and I see why. They are terrified of this nutcase. The customer is always right, but in this venomous hater, only she is right. We paid our bill, left a nice gratuity, and promised to wright a through review on our Blog. This person has the worst attitude I have ever come across in my 46 years on this planet. She would fare better at a junk yard. Lyn was her name, we found out later from a patron who saw us shopping at a local store. He said she had«Stolen«the business, and when we asked his name, he said«Can’t talk about it, she’s crazy«everybody is afraid of her, but the man who started the Bar/Grill, was liked by everyone. Don’t know him, but his menu looked awesome. Too bad the new owner does’nt care… Would we ever go back? No. Would we tell anyone to avoid this place like the plague? Yes. While she was screaming at us, my wife & I noticed our daughters with their hands over their faces. My oldest had been recording this woman since she came to our booth, without our knowledge, and proptly posted it all over social media.(Kids!) When we asked«Why were you 2 covering your faces? «they said«Daddy, it smelled bad enough in there, but her breath about killed us, and we were embarrased. she’s evil« Lyn, if that is your name, you may want to take courses on dealing with the public, or get counciling… or both.
