Oishii Fondue Hot Pot & Sushi Bar

They have certainly improved since they first open. I enjoy the food much more! Sadly, every time I visit the conveyor belt is just dead, meaning no sushi rolling in :(. I’ve tried the hot pot option twice now and I love love hot pot. just it’s a disappointment when the broth taste like water and they took out the condiment bar to make a sauce for dipping. I was only handed a kimchi sauce and that just ain’t my thing.
The sashimi appetizer was beautifully presented on a black tile which made the fish’s color pop. The shrimp and veggie tempura app for only $ 5.99 was so worth it! Lots of food (even though it’s only two shrimp, there’s an assortment of veggies from asparagus, eggplant and so on).
The Chicken Katsu dinner was also pretty yummy with a light and crispy panko crust. Good job! The portion was pretty big too.
I love love love the interior. It’s modern, clean and it pulls me in. The booth though, is a little low for me to sit in (short people problem?).
Overall, if you’re looking for something different to try. Hit this place up! You get something a little different with the individual hot pot stations as well as the conveyor sushi belt (which is most likely empty). The food is pretty good, except the broth is nothing on par to other places serving hot pot. The atmosphere is modern and clean.
