Largo Family Restaurant

Sat there for 5 minutes. No one waited on me even though at least 6 servers walked by me. I’m out.

What a disappointment! 20 min wait for drinks, saw people come in after us get food while we still hadn’t talked to our waitress, Sebrina? Serena? I think? Asking for straws or extra napkins was a crime. Thank god for wonderful girl who was cleaning tables next to us overheard our waitress and grabbed them for us! Never got any drink refills even with asking twice. Finally got our chicken and dumpling soup– YUM! Now that was delicious and would deal with miss rude just for that! My Mom’s chicken strips were very actually very good too, but my cold open face turkey sandwich was just. gross, dry cold turkey drenched in yellow lumpy «gravy» with cold mashed taters was not appealing nor edible. When she found time to finally drop off our check asked if I wanted box as plate only had two bites missing, told her no thank you it was too cold and dry for me she shrugged and said well what can ya do and walked away! I love real open faced sandwiches so was excited when she told me it was real turkey not sliced deli meat like some places do but order something else!!! Mom was in town and wanted to get away from Seafood for one night, read some decent reviews so gave it a try, needless to say I’ve lost my dinner picking rights! Waitress screwed up half her orders we saw or always forgot something. I’m always very polite but this lady almost made me get rude! I saw some other great waitress’ so maybe just ours was horrible? Daughter loved the chocolate pudding for desert! Might try again but if we got the same waitress I would be asking for anyone else!

Great food and great service! I read previous reviews and was curious, but when finished I couldn’t have been more satisfied. Gentleman named Zani was on top of everything and I am excited to go back! Delicious home town cooking!

This place was not half bad. In fact it was pretty good. Very good service too. Nice decore.

Food is cheap but tastes cheap also. Was not really a fan of this place and probably won’t go back. Would rather pay more and get good quality. It was worth the try though

It’s a solid 3 star. Nothing bad, but nothing fantastic. Open room with booths and tables, service was nice. Everything on menu was very inexpensive. Ordered an open face roast beef sandwich a water and was out of there for $ 8.50 with a $ 2 tip included ! Sandwich was ok, coleslaw was good. Good for locals who eat out very often, I probably won’t be going back anytime soon, but am trying out all the places by my work.

Stumbled in for lunch while working in Largo. Seemed generic with literally every kind of food on the menu: sandwiches, salads, breakfast all day, burgers, Italian food, pie, etc. I ordered a turkey croissant and my friend ordered the corned beef Reuben. I really was not expecting much based on the exterior and the blah menu. However, I was VERY pleasantly surprised. My croissant was fluffy and buttery, and the turkey was not just regular deli meat; it looked (and tasted) like it had been sliced off of an actual, fresh turkey. My friend was also pleased with the meat quality of his Reuben. Our total bill was $ 11…beat that for a delicious, filling meal! I don’t know if I would necessarily go out of my way to come back to this place, but if you’re looking for fast, fresh comfort foods, this is an inexpensive, friendly place to get them.
