Amazing I mean 5 $ for a fresh made Italian sandwich! Like walking into tithe neighborhood deli and the owner takes pride in his business. A great selection of Italian cookies, pastas, canned Italian greats. A must try if in the area!

HOLEINTHEWALLGOLD!!! Great sandwich. The owner knows his stuff and the prices are just right…$ 6 and change for a footlong Italian sub with a TON of fresh cut meats and Hanks Cream Soda. I even bought some espresso and a stove top espresso maker which was almost half the price of Target and Amazon. PS I feel guilty writing a review since South Park :)

My wife and I buy sandwiches there at least once a week. We love the home made sauces. We just got the potatoe salad this week and of course loved it too. It’s a must visit… also, the sausage they make is awesome!

Great little place. This place is not for the ambiance. This is an original Italian deli that is simple yet full of quality. I’ve tried everything from the sandwiches to the olives to the homemade sausage. Everything is fantastic. I am from NYC and have been to quite a few Italian delis through the years. I look for them where ever I go. This place is perfect. He even carries pastosa products and those of you from the city will know what I am talking about. The owner is always working and knows his customers. This place is a gem. This is not a place to really sit down and eat. You show up, place your order, and go home to enjoy.

Stopped in for late lunch today. Extremely fresh caprese sub, ate at a small table up front and didn’t feel rushed. Price gave me a heart attack at $ 5 for the 6″ — best deal going! Was $ 6.12 including water and an almond cookie. Will be back for sure!

You can’t get a better sub in St. Pete. Italian sausage made on site(sweet, hot, air dried). Stop in and make you mouth happy

Ummmm you get what you pay for!!! Cheap and food was not great. I got a hot sub and it was cold. My friend got a cold sub and it was okay. The guy behind the counter was less than helpful. The sandwich artist was terrible and no personality!!!

WOW, A buddy took me here and I must say it is a small place with exceptional service and the owner is very friendly. The sandwiches were enormous at $ 5 each and I don’t know what he did but for looking so simple they tasted out of this world. You might have to wait a bit around lunch but it’s worth it. Highly recommend!

GREAT subs. Great prices. All bread, meats and cheeses are fresh. Several homemade Italian desserts. Also hot dishes like Chicken Parmesan, pasta, lasagna. Array of canned/jarred items(olives, capers, anchovies, etc.), panettones, pastas, olive oils. Again, great prices. Pastas and sauces available frozen. Take out only.

got lunch today. ordered an small Italian and small roast beef, turkey and cheese sub. cost 10.00. Huge portions, very soft and tasty meat and bread taste like it came from the north end of boston. Best deal on the east coast. that sub would cost 9 to 10 in any northern city… crazy not to get heros made here wish you were in massachusetts

Best sandwiches in town! Portions are huge and mostly meat. Freshly shaved for each sandwich and made by hand. Freshly made pastas and Italian specialties daily including desserts and imported sodas. My favorite place to eat for under $ 7 sandwich and drink.

Great subs, Also the sausage and peppers are out of this world. If you want also try the stuffed shells. I have never had anything sub par from here. Paulie does a great job. I highly recommend

Great subs, very fresh turkey and roast beef, among other choices made to order. Owner Paul Ippolito makes a subs overflowing with your choice of condiments for only $ five bucks. also home made pasta. He has handled the food for a few parties as well, guests very satisfied.

Ippolito’s rocks! After hearing a dozen people talking so highly, I finally had a chance to make it in there. Cool setup, lots of specialty ingredients, and down to earth service. Good coversation and even better food! I had a spicy sausage sub with peppers and onions, overflowing with cheese, all for $ 5 tax included! Try getting that at substandard-Subway. Can’t wait to go back.

Ippy always makes me the best subs or heroes. He overstuffs them with all the different meats I request and piles on the lettuce, tomatoes, grilled peppers etc. He loves making a sandwich he would eat himself. The bread is from Jersey so it is fantastic and what i love about the sub. He also gets fresh cookis from Jersey as well and they remind me of the North East. Ippy is kind of quite and shy at first but once he opens up he is a sweetheart that aims to please.

I love real italian delis and markets and was excited to stumble across this one. I got a ham and cheese sub. The roll was soo stale and the ham they used tasted like it was canned or frozen or something. Looked more like spam than ham. I ended up giving most of the sandwich to my dog, who seemed to enjoy it, but he also enjoys eating grass so…
