Saw The two guys working tonight take a verbal beat down from a guy claiming to have not received the disc in game he purchased. It made them a little snarky and bitter after because the guy probably never had the game in the first place but they still refunded him. I honestly would be a little angry if I was belittled by a customer, in front of customers too but it was obvious that the guy didn’t want to take my return. Before he even looked at my receipt the guy started to say I can’t do anything with this. I knew my return was legit so I payed him no mind and allowed him to correct his mistake by himself. Then he checked that my debit card matched for 45 seconds.(no there’s only four numbers of my debit card on the receipt to compare to my card). He eventually forked over my return and didn’t even answer me when I asked what my options were for the return. I mean I know you just got chewed out but don’t take it out on other customers. He would of been happy to tell me he couldn’t give me a refund and it showed. I’m still going to shop there due to convenience and because I really don’t care about a grown man’s attitude, but. I thought it would be nice to share. It was the chubby black guy btw.

I’ve been a fan of this GameStop since it first opened several years ago. Just like any other GameStop they have all the necessary things you need. I guess for me it’s the location and customer service that sets it aside from the rest. The location is not far from where I live so that’s a convenience. The customer service to me has always been good. Since I’m a regular there the managers and staff know me well and always provide me with the best expert advise when it comes to what games to buy. They also let me know about all the good releases coming out and if it’s worth the time and money. I highly recommend this store because of their customer service. If your a gamer or if your kids play video games this is a good spot to go to. During the holidays they always have good deals and their trade ins aren’t so bad.

I couldn’t recommend this store any less. The latest time i went there the associate(Mike) was very rude when dealing with me and my trade ins, i was not informed about any other deals, and both associates were outside of the store smoking directly in front of the location. His attitude was condescending and he treated me as if he didn’t enjoy his job and was taking it out on me. The manager is very serious and could use a few lessons in friendly customer service. I don’t believe i will be back to this location and i can’t recommend it to friends. The only saving grace i’ve seen with this store is one of the girls that works there, i forget her name but she was a bigger girl with an eye brow piercing, she was very pleasant and helped me with all my problems and trade ins, she is the only reason i gave the store 2 stars instead of one. If all the employees were like her i would actually make my reservations there instead of driving all the way to Bowie.

Its gotten better but that still isn’t saying a lot I no longer reserve games at this location because they always«claim» that their shipments come in late or they ran out of copies! One day I caught them in their line though… one girl actually told on herself and said that they had the games(on its release date) but it was going to take awhile for them to stock them or to look for them in the package or some bs like that. Now I wasn’t born yesterday… I know it doesn’t take very long to open a damn box, grab a game, and ring me up for it. So, I told her that I didn’t mind waiting and I could just see the laziness in her body language. After like 20 minutes of waiting, I finally got my game. This made me believe that every time I was told«the shipment was late» or «sorry we’re out of copies», that I was really being lied to because these lazy asses didn’t feel like opening boxes and stocking on release dates! Even if all the other times weren’t lies, this incident should have never happen to plant that seed in my mind in the first place. I have never been to another location and had this same problem! Can you imagine being told this stuff on the release date of a long anticipated game?!(maybe only other gamers can understand my level of frustration) I still may pick a game up from this location if I’m close by and have been want to buy a particular game for awhile. Another time this location forgot to give me the instructions for an exclusive downloadable content only given to those who reserved the game! Thankfully, half way to my car I remembered and went back to ask for it! Last complaint, I promise: I’ll never forget the time I was standing in a long line to pick up a reservation and the two teens working there were moving slow as molasses and was stopping every so often to watch and laugh at an episode of Dragonball Z that was playing in the store! I reported this store after this incident. Definitely would warrant anyone to stay away from this location… and btw the only reason I gave it two stars is because there’s this really cute girl that I see working there some times.
