Where to start! Service was slow, sushi rice was not cooked properly, mussels were too watery and over compensated by sauce. Nice place, very Yamato-e but that’s the only thing this place has to offer.

I read the other(negative) reviews and honesty don’t know if we ate at the same restaurant. My boyfriend is originally from the Laredo area and always talked this place up, so when we took a weekend trip to the area, we stopped over here for dinner on our way back to San Antonio. The boyfriend is a huge sushi snob, so I knew this place HAD to be good. We started with the baked mussels, which are fantastic! If you love shellfish, definitely get these! We enjoyed our meal here. Danny perfectly prepared everything for us, including a special new creation he made for us(the zucchini-wrapped one). I was so stuffed, but couldn’t bear to leave it behind. It was really delicious! I definitely recommend this place if you enjoy delectable, edible art.
