Ok, back in town again, looks like we are making this our weekend stay place after delivering our end of week loads. This time we got one of the newly renovated rooms, a lot more«cozy» than the others if you ask me. Flat screen tv, tile floors, newer carpet, former beds. Room location is great, very close to laundry, happy hour area and parking

Excellent hotel especially for truckers. Excellent rooms with a pool and hot tub right in a rain garden! For truckers there is parking for your tractor not trailer and a Walmart is right down the street. Been here many times and you will not be disappointed.

Great stay. Have new and older rooms with prices to match. Shuttle service is offered. Sometimes a little slow. But over all a good service. Happy hour Monday thru Saturday is awesome. Hot tubs and day spa’s and pool. Over all. God price for the stay

In my line of work I have come across my fare share of hotels across the United States and I must say I am impressed with the Family Garden Inn. Security is tight however I did have a minor incident regarding another patron and the manager personally handled the situation in a timely fashion. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and willingness to satisfy there customers. Great hotel!

This is my first encounter with Family Garden Inn and I couldn’t be more pleased with my stay. The premises are completely secure and the staff seem to really care about any concerns that may arise, very professional! Overall great place to stay for a the night or several weeks.

Nice remolded rooms around the pool. Fun happy hour with FREE beer, hot dogs nachos etc. The best part is having them cook your dinner over an open wood fire. Eat around the pool OR they deliver to your room. Hubby likes the fajita or steak dinner. I always get the chicken breast or pork chops. LOVETHEWOODYCOOKEDFLAVOR. Late check out is great. Family & Trucker friendly.

Wow! What a cool hotel. We don’t get down to Laredo much anymore but took a quick weekend trip the other day. We hasn’t stayed at this hotel before but our normal go-to was sold out and Family Garden still had a handful of rooms, so we snagged them. The rates seemed fair(even more so now that we got to fully experience all they offer). The rooms are well-decorated and have been recently remodeled. They have this really neat second building with an open-air/indoor setup and a river, waterfall, and hot tubs in the middle. Very unique. The main building had patios for each room with a table and chairs, so you could sit outside and enjoy your evening. Nice. We arrived at 4pm, just in time to unpack and head to the cabana for Happy Hour. Beer, nachos, popcorn and a few other snacks to cap the day… Did I mention it was free? Free beer?! I’m sold. They also had a guy grilling fajita plates which was nice as we didn’t have to leave the hotel for a Taco Palenque dinner or anything. The pool was clean and the kids seemed to enjoy it. I didn’t get in one of their many hot tubs because it was hotter than h-e-double hockey sticks, but they looked inviting. Overall, it ain’t the Four Seasons– but that’s not what we were looking for. Great food(free for happy hour and breakfast), a convenience store on-site, clean rooms, and nice staff made it a very enjoyable stay. We will return here next time we are in Laredo!
