One of my favorite breakfast spots in Westchester. The food is excellent and the menus changes frequently. Great coffee as well. It’s a little crowed and can be difficult to get a table at time. But it’s worth the try.

One of the few places I would go to knowing there will be a line and find it worth the wait. Get a sandwich on a baguette and enjoy. Recommend the spicy ham.

Stan’z is right by my house, so my husband and I frequent it. Food is always great quality, love the atmosphere. Only wish it was open for dinner!

On the run again for(what I thought was going to be great experience) Hot Chocolate. I was actually working in the area and stumble on Stan’z Café. It is very charming Café from the exterior alone. And quite honestly, it’s the only establishment of its kind, that pops with an interesting allure on the block. When in, you place your order at the front of the house and pay. Then a server will bring your order to the table. Right there, you’ll also have the flat top where hash browns are sizzling away, and pastries. I wanted to feed my headache out of all things, with a Hot Chocolate. Interior is way cuter: brick walls, magical stars, antique brass chandeliers and tables that are slabs of wood. Gorgeous. Energy in Stan’z is very lively and everyone seems happy to be here. It’s a good thing… My Hot Chocolate was brought over to me, and it had the foam on top, which added a nice umph to it. And I simply couldn’t wait to taste. However, with one sip and I instantly knew it was not unsweetened Dutch cocoa, instead it was from one of those prepackaged envelopes! I really hate to say this, but I will… I do have my «favorites» when it boils down to where I go to and how my decadent Hot Chocolate is prepared, but I also don’t want to be biased, but only to mention my experience. Staff was amazingly helpful-throughout. Layout was funky for the neighborhood and I’m sure that menu items are extremely fresh. However, the substandard ventilation system, honestly didn’t whisk all that bacon smell that was lingering all over the café and all over me ;-(. And worse, when I got into my car, my clothes and hair smelled like bacon. So not happy. In all fairness, Stan’z comes across as a really nice café and I’m only basing my review on what I experienced in that short moment. I’m most certain that Stan’z Café will perhaps outshine in other areas. Truthfully, I wanted to support it, but because my Hot Chocolate was not prepared with Dutch Unsweetened Cocoa and bacon hovering all over me from head to toe(which I dislike highly), for those reasons, I’m out.

Nothing special unfortunately. Ambiance was nice very rustic and open feel. Self serve coffee and open seating once you place your order. I opted for the basic breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast and potatoes. By the time I fixed my tea and and sat down to take it all in my order was in front of me. The potatoes were overly done to the point where it was a charred collection of inedible rocks with a nice amount of seasoning. The eggs were lovely, light and fluffy not over done but under seasoned. A bit of salt would have made it better. The toast was from one of their many loaves of French bread that line the kitchen window. The bread was gorgeous! Crusty on the outside light and airy on the inside. It was dreaming for jam!!! You have to ask for condiments which is a bit of a pain in the ass since they don’t really have a waitstaff and if it’s your first time(like mine was today) it can be a bit off putting. The tea was nothing special, Lipton! Hot water for me has to be boiling not Luke warm when attempting to make tea. There were 2 carafes filled with water on a burner but they’re weren’t hot enough. Then again I’m sure it’s probably a liability thing if liquids are too hot and peeps burn themselves(thanks a lot macdonalds lady) I will gladly return soon to try another menu item.

Went for the first time today with daughter and grand daughter and I plan on becoming a steady customer. The Shrimp platter was so fresh, shrimp grilled perfectly and the salad tasted like it was just picked out of the garden. The food was delivered very quickly, and the staff is very friendly.

Had lunch here with friends. Think things would have been easier if they sat you and had wait staff. Once food came out it was delish. Nice atmosphere too.

Great craft omelets and sandwiches. Trust the chefs for recommendations if you are not sure what to get.

So here the deal… this is really the only place to go for breakfast in Westchester. Everything else pales in comparison. It’s quirky, it’s delicious, and will cure any hangover you can throw at it. Great ingredients and combinations. Great vibe. Can be crowded at times but worth it. Yummo

My husband were looking for a nice breakfast place near New Rochelle and this popped up! It’s definitely a cute place and very charming décor inside with exposed brick walls and huge windows. You put in your order at the front counter and seat yourself, and then… the food is supposed to come to you, POOF. In theory, that’s a cute concept, but in reality, it was a little more complicated as the server gave our order to someone else, then when we asked what was taking so long we had to get our order again… but they got half of our order wrong! Ugh. I think that taking a number to put on your table would work better? The food was good, however — I got the breakfast tacos and they were flavorful and filling. My husband was supposed to get muffin with poached eggs and avocado but got something else with sausage that he enjoyed anyway. So even though it was the wrong thing… still good, so that speaks to the quality of the food.

While food is OK, service is non-existent. Food takes forever to come out, tables aren’t cleaned properly, and silverware is dirty. Overall don’t go there if you’re in a hurry, actually don’t go there at all, there are better alternatives on the area.

Amazing lunches. Great sandwich combinations and salads. Reasonable prices. Breakfast is really good too. Often busy, expect to wait(but that is Bc its so worth it!)

The omelette(I got the one with avocado and jalapeños) is a 10. Self serve coffee bar is fantastic. I would eat breakfast here everyday if I could.

I ate breakfast here for the first time last week and immediately fell in love with this place! The décor is nice and comfortable and the atmosphere very friendly. I love the idea of choosing your meal and paying for it at the front counter, then finding your seat and the meal magically finding you. I ordered the eggs scrambled with potatoes and creamy delicious goat cheese with a side of nicely toasted French bread and a cup of fruit. I thoroughly enjoyed every morsel of it, so much so that upon exiting I said to the person with me that I wished I were a Hobbit so I would have an excuse to enjoy a second breakfast! I cannot wait to go back again and try other items — particularly their wonderful omelet selection.

I need more places like this in my life — what a great find! Some of my friends go here occasionally and spoke highly of it, I was in Larchmont to get my car serviced so I thought it would be a good opportunity to try Stan’z for breakfast. The ambiance of the café has a very relaxed, casual feel. As we walked in we were greeted by a large counter with the menu on the wall in back of it. We placed our order and then had a seat in the dining area. The beverages are self-serve, there’s a fridge with juices and other soft drinks near the counter and a coffee station in the dining area. There was a crêpe station as well but it was not being used while I was there. It wasn’t too crowded but I can imagine it being super busy on the weekends. The menu had a good selection of breakfast items, the classics are there plus some unique offerings. I went with the goat cheese and bacon omelette which came with arugula and side of home fries(though you can opt for fruit as a side instead). My dish was tasty and fresh — they didn’t skimp on any of the fillings which is refreshing. My brothers were with me and said their dishes were delicious as well. I’m so glad I discovered Stan’z — definitely a place I would come back to.

Stanz is awesome, and really the only breakfast/brunch game in the nearby area if you are looking for an alternative to the diner. And their lunch is pretty great, too. The breakfast items are delicious – I’m particularly a fan of the scrambled eggs with potatoes, caramelized onions, and goat cheese. Sandwiches are HUGE if you order them on a baguette(and you should) and the two I’ve tried – chicken cutlet with artichoke hearts, shaved Parmesan, and vinaigrette and the maple turkey, goat cheese, apple slices, arugula, and honey dijon – were truly delicious. If you come during peak weekend hours, don’t expect to find a table easily. Takeout can be a wait, too, during those times. But it’s worth it. Yum.

We need more places in the area like Stanz. It’s probably my favorite lunch spot. Lots of people like their salads, but I’ll never order them because their sandwiches are SOOOGOOOD! I always get them on a French baguette, unless they’ve run out in which case I cry a little and order it on a wedge. The ham and Brie is amazing. They use really great meats and cheeses on their sandwiches. Getting hungry just writing about it!
