Went last night with my parents for my Birthday dinner. I had been there about 6 months ago and had a fabulous meal… Gnocchi with cheese and pears. I was looking forward to having it again, but apparently they change the menu every month. Don’t go by the menu online either, its not up to date. Dinner started with a fly in the wine, which the waiter apologised for and replaced it. Followed by our eggplant rollitini(which at first came out as a fish dish). The waiter yelled at the bus boy that he confused our order and told us it would be a few mins to prepare our dish. When it finally came out, it did not taste like eggplant at all. Too much spinach and tasted frozen. For dinner I got chicken in lemon sauce and veggies. The chicken was cut(to check if it was cooked… like something I would do at home bc I stink at cooking chicken)…Certainly don’t expect to see that in a restaurant. Lemon sauce was not so great. Honestly, I make a better one at home. We shared a half portion of pasta which was very fresh. The mozzarella on top wasn’t melted at all, honestly they just stuck a piece on top and sent it out. I heard the table next to us order a bottle of wine… minutes later, a standing wine chiller is at our table. The staff was very confused all night. The bottle arrives at the table next to us, and they notice the chiller was at the wrong table. Waiter yells at bus boy again… what are you doing!!! I said table 7 not 6! To top it all off, the bill comes and they charged us for an extra app and the bottle of wine from the next table!!! They immediately took it off… no accommodations for all of the mix ups of the night. Maybe its because they had a party going on on the other side, but the service was weird and the food was so so. Won’t be returning.

Upscale, classic Italian restaurant. White table clothes and smartly dressed waiters make this place great for a special occasion or date night. The pastas are fantastic and they always have interesting specials. I wish there was a better bar so that you could dine there. Always make a reservation on the weekend, although you may still wait for your table on a busy night.

While visiting my girlfriend in New Rochelle, I had the pleasure of eating here. She said that my visit wouldn’t be complete unless I indulged in a meal at Lusardi’s. I was meeting one of her best friends for the first time and what a wonderful place for this interaction(read interview) to take place. Every aspect of the dining experience went above and beyond my expectations. We ended up spending 2 hours eating and chatting. We didn’t realize how long we had been there until I checked my watch while we were on the way out. I will definitely be back.

Drove up from Bridgeport for lunch with my father on Saturday. Beautiful Italian restaurant in downtown Larchmont. Elegant interior with salmon colored walls and hardwood floors. My father had homemade cavatelli, s with peas and fresh moozarella, in a light marinara sauce. He said it was excellent. I had papparadelle, s with wild boar ragu, they were mouthwatering. The Italian bread was warm, great with olive oil. Topped off lunch with an espresso and a cappuccino. Waiters were very professional. Great experience, will definitely be back.

Husband and I always have a disagreement about this place — he loves the old school Italian food and ambience and claims it as his favorite restaurant in Larchmont. I love its pasta — amazing as a starter portion, sometimes a bit much as a main course, but have found the other food just to be OK. plus you can sometimes have to wait a bit for a table at the crowded bar, even when you’ve booked a table, at busy times. It’s good, but for the price(not cheap), I just expect better specials and more exciting main courses and a slightly smarter dining room.

very nice space. great décor and ambiance. just really an amazing restrant . i went here Sunday and it was amazing .i started off wit the crispy artichokes what was delicious and had a spicy tomato paste on the underneath .a dining companian had a salad and raved about it . for my main course ihad the ochietti with wild boar sausage and broccolli rob .the pastta was fresh with a beautiful rosemary infused oliiv oil and the sausuge was very tasty and a hint sweet which realy elevated the dsh. the broccoli rob was nice, not to bitter or oily. all toped off withfreshly grond pepper and cheese . for my dining companoins dish he got a veal dish what tasted amazing. service very good. For dessert I had the trio off desserts(Italian flourless chocolate cake, biscotti and tiramisu).the cake was rich and sweet and came with a light chocolate ice cream on top of a thin wafer cookie. the biscotti were two different types of biscotti and almond biscotti and a chocolate biscotti both were scrumptious and cam with an Italian dessert wine. the tiramisu was amazing and probably the best part of the whole night .i look forward to coming back soon.

Lusardis is such a special restaurant. The food is always great, the menu always evolving and seasonally focused, the service impeccable and the waitstaff are truly nice and welcoming. We have enjoyed so many nights in this restaurant and have also used the private room for several birthday parties. We have never been disappointed and also love that we can come in for an early dinner with our children, who also love eating here. Every time my Mom comes to visit we always dine here, it’s the only Italian restaurant she enjoys! Definitely our favorite special night out restaurant!

Sweet little restaurant in Parchment’s town. I came here with my boyfriend yesterday and we shared a delicious lunch. He had the Carciofi all Brace– Great, fresh artichoke(with a light vignette sauce that we asked the chef to make for us), Rollatine Montanara pasta– absolutely delicious. I had the Lobster, shrimp and crab cake– lightly fried and very good– I also had the Sea Bass– very good as well. We shared a chocolate cake for dessert which was very disappointing considering how delicious everything else was. The décor or the restaurant was nice, and our waiter was very pleasant. I would recommend this restaurant to friends visiting Larchmont, and I would definitely return!

Great Italian place, delicious food, nice service, good Italian wine list, old school decorations, classy environment. One of the owner was really generous at the end sending limoncello, biscotti and grappa. Good job! Cheers!

We are loyal customers because of Harry and the staff. We have gone to chat 19 in larchmont for years. When Harry was moved to lusardis we went to visit and fell in love with everything about this place. Plus the hours of operation are perfect for us. My wife and I are late eaters. They got my vote for best restaurants in the area!

This restaurant is for people who like large portions of poor food. We went with a group so got to try a lot of things. There was a good fried artichoke appetizer and a passable agnolotti dish. However, all the pasta dishes were gummy or literally swimming in oil, the main courses were overly oily, the vegetables tasteless, and the chicken, fish and steak were dry. The desserts did not have the fresh, clean, homemade taste you hope for in a restaurant like this. The service was fine, however. They overcharged us, so be vigilant! You have to look carefully at the bill and be good at arithmetic if you plan to eat here. Overall, definitely not worth it.

Interesting fact worth knowing: Lusardi’s does take out! If you’re tired of the usual Chinese Mexican or Japanese take-out options consider Lusardi’s. The other day we were too tired to cook or go out, so we got takeout from the Lusardi’s. We got mozzarella with tomatoes, some unbelievably good portobello mushrooms. A side of Brussels sprouts. Salmon entrée and pasta with mushrooms. I forget all the fancy Italian names, but you can find them on the menu. A big slab of delicious bread. A delicious little side salad. Everything was ready for pick up when we got there. All in all it was an excellent option, which we will add to our list when we are tired of less gourmet choices!

Delicious Italian restaurant. Gracious staff that goes above and beyond. Comfortable setting. The second time we went we were able to sit in the room right next to a fireplace — nice and cozy! Seafood salad was superb, and a special we had with truffles and linguini was amazing. The kids came and they were very accommodating to them as well. Great wine list to boot. You won’t be disappointed!

We were meeting friends in Westchester for dinner last night and being that we absolutely love their restaurant on 2nd Ave we decided why not try this location. What a mistake! After waiting a few minutes to be seated, our waiter took our drink order. So far, so good… It wasn’t until after we ordered that our meal took a turn for the worst. After we had finished our appetizers we sat. We chatted, We wondered, We looked around, We waited some more. We finally asked«anyone», «What happened to our food?» A few minutes more and we were finally served. Unfortunately, 2 out of the 4 dishes were cold so back they went. We waited some more. At the point when the other 2 dinners were almost complete, the dishes were put back in front of us too hot to touch. Now one would think that at a restaurant of Lusardi’s caliber that they would have made us 2 new dishes. Nope! We were served the original dishes fresh from the microwave we presumed. It was the most disappointing dish I had eaten in a long time. Considering this was supposedly a house speciality, Vitello Martini, we were truly disgusted. At the end of the meal we told our waiter how unhappy we were and got no response. We won’t be coming back.

In for lunch, and my first visit. I had not read any reviews, so I would like to think I could be completely objective. The restaurant has an old world Italian feel, from the storefront to the décor. It is comfortable, and tables topped with double linens. A few tables line the sidewalk, and one brave couple(Spring is still a dream here in NY) was dining outside. We ordered a nice half-bottle of Amarone to go with our two pasta dishes — a gnocchi with pancetta, porcini and an «aurora»(creamy tomato) sauce, along with a veal ragu and shaved parmigiano over a whole wheat penne. Bread was promptly delivered with some olive oil for dipping. Wasn’t crazy about the bread… They have a well stocked wine list, with both domestic and international choices, and a tilt toward Italian wines(as it should be). The pastas were served perfectly al dente(penne) and the gnocchi soft and delicate. I liked the aurora sauce better than the veal ragu, which I found to be a bit dry and under-seasoned. The Zenato Amarone was a perfect accompaniment to the pastas. Our waiter was spot-on with service and kept up with our water and wine needs. If the pasta sauce had been better, and the bread more appealing this is easily a four-star spot. I would like to try it again and order both pasta and entrée over a long evening meal.
