East Side Fresh Meat & Produce

The meat that they cut will taste like Pine Sol, because they slather it all over their tables and equipment. When we called to complain they were very rude as well. Don’t waste your money unless you enjoy the taste of pine and antiseptic. Gross!

Love their porterhouse steaks! Homemade Brats are great too. Basically, very good meat but pricey… it’s worth it though

Nice store. Excellent deli. Boars head meat! Hot foods. Fried chicken. BBQ ribs. Ruben sandwiches etc… beer wine… Produce, bakery etc. super friendly staff… real solid store.

Small grocery on the side of the road boasts a medium sized, but good quality meat counter. Beer and wine, but nothing fancy. Produce selection could be better. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially behind the meat counter. If you’re looking to BBQ, this place is a good one-​stop-​shop.

This small, family owned and run grocery has, hands down the best meat counter in the area. I would give them five stars but they lack a little bit in the produce department and since it isn’t just a butcher, I need to take that in to consideration. Their meat counter is the best around, it’s fresh meat, high quality and very reasonably priced. It’s another throwback, that hasn’t changed much over the past thirty years and you just get a real nice feeling when working with these guys. Mike and his crew of butchers do an excellent job, I will continue to buy from them and encourage anyone who enjoys good, fresh cuts, to go check them out. Don’t be put off by the small size of the shop or it’s location. The meat department is very clean and run properly.
BTW, they can special order cuts too. One of the absolute best pieces of lamb I got was from them, it was basically the entire lamb from right behind the two front legs, all the way back. I had to do some butchering which I enjoy and they surely would have if I asked. Well this was seriously FRESH and EXCELLENT lamb. Man was it good!
