Cute little place, very home-y Service was quick, great for limited time at lunch. I had Tomato Soup(just the right kick of spice) and half a Mandarin Chicken Salad Sandwich. The food is made with love(you can just tell) and quality ingredients(lean baked and pulled chicken breast made up the salad). I bought one of each of their soups to bring home ~ everything was really good… I will be back when in the area and I will recommend.

I just love this place! The Honey Please grilled cheese is simple and yummy, and it’s paired with a spicy tomato soup. My stepmom and sister had chicken salad sandwiches & both thought they were delicious too. At first my sister refused to try the summer roll because it didn’t look appealing to her and she hates carrots, but we eventually convinced her to try it. She loved it as much as us. It’s simple but fresh, and the wasabi sauce that comes with it is mild and refreshing. I plan to stop by next time I’m in LaPlace to grab lunch again. I hear the pastries are divine!

I just had the best egg and cheese croissant I’ve ever had in my life. Perfect blend of savory and sweet.

Ate at Chung’s for lunch today. On top of delicious food, the service is spectacular. The Korean BBQ poboy and the grilled cheese sandwich are both delicious. I highly recommend!

Had some time before our swamp tour, went on the trusty Unilocal app and the 1st food option to pop up was Chungs. A customer was coming out as we were going in, and she said«I love this place.» =) 1st impression was that this place looks so cute. It is decorated like someone’s home, with inspirational quotes everywhere. Had a map of where visitors were from. Ordered the sweet potato salad, Korean beef po-boy and ice coffee. Everything was delicious! Beef was seasoned well and juicy. Sweet potato salad was mashed and had eggs and cajun/chili pepper? seasoning. Coffee was strong. Mrs. Chung was very nice and welcoming! Will upload pics as soon as I get back home.

I enjoy this place for its amazing food and comforting atmosphere. The place reminds of Starbucks in the fact that you are invited to lounge around. However, unlike Starbucks the place isn’t filled with people and you can expect every table to be clean. I find the place extremely cute with art, poems, and inspiring quotes all over. There is even a giant gingerbread house. I have been here numerous times and enjoyed every time. Mrs. Chung is extremely sweet and helpful. She is a magnificent chef. Her gumbo and Korean BBQ wrap are my favorite.

What a hidden treasure. Group of us came and ordered a variety of things from the menu. Nothing was disappointing. Sandwiches are delicious and fresh, the gumbo is suuuuper good and the baked goods top everything off sweetly, but not too sweet! The owner is really friendly too. Glad we found this place!

Found this place on my way to meet a client in La Place, La on 8−1−11. I’m glad I did. I had the Green Apple Turkey Sandwich. I’m not big on shredded turkey, but I must admit I love this sandwich. The turkey was tender and well seasoned. The atmosphere of this place was nice also. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The owner came out to greet me. Asked if I needed anything. I will definitely be back and recommend this place.
