Love this place the atmosphere the people everything about the place. It is a down to earth smooth relaxing bar and don’t have to worry about rowdiness because they only serve beers. I make way to this place after a day of work to unwind before going home and the service is amazing I love the flights and there board of directors deal is the coolest yet. The growlers are great prices and bringing em back for a refill at 3dollars and twenty five cents off keeps you coming back for more, where else around here can you get a bison coney? All in all great job I will never stop coming. Five stars guys.

Dinner tonight with cask beer and mead, oh my God good. The staff is so customer focused, and sincere. My grandson owned the place. We will be back most every week. Food, wine and beer, so great.

Tom Petty and I do not get along. Especially on a Friday night. The music was soooo depressing. Every song made me feel like I was in a heroin den. We were seated upstairs, and starving, mind you, so please take that into consideration while reading this review. The bass was the only audible note in the room so imagine the heaviness combined with first-world starvation. The waitress was overwhelmed as well, but for different reasons. They were understaffed upstairs. I hope they read this because the beer is awesome. To each their own, but I loved Puddin and Winter Sun. Others were OK. My soup was served in a Dixie cup bowl, as in throw it away because that bowl has no style or appeal, lukewarm temp. We were going to eat dinner and order more drinks but ended up leaving. Pretzel app was yummy. Mustards were fun to chose from. The upstairs was depressing and it didn’t help the edibles much at all. 3 stars because they are great when we sit downstairs.

Went here back in September shortly after opening. Tried a beer sampler and sausage. While the food was good, if you werent looking to be overly full. The guy that I went with and myself found the beer sampler to barely be consumable. I love the addition to lapeer. Fun to see cars downtown again in the weekend. But this place would definitely not be my first choice. Service was bad but i would chalk that up to the newness at the time.

This is an excellent place to have a good meal with local brews. Scotch eggs, pierogis and cheese pizza(with 5 cheeses) make excellent appetizers. The muffuletta is as good as any I’ve had in New Orleans. The bison dog and Cuban are both quite good. The beers are also great, with something for just about anyone who likes craft beers. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Puddin’ Porter. Upstairs has nice game and lounging area. Overall, an excellent addition to Lapeer!

Lapeer’s down town continues to make some strong steps forward. Tilted axis has beautifully rebuilt a building that has sat empty for many years… and it looks great. The brew master has a great flavor profile across all the offerings. The flights are presented great and at a very fair price. The service was solid, especially for a brand new concept still finding it’s footing. The menu is definitely bringing some unique flavors to town… something that is a very welcomed in Lapeer. They still have some tweaks to do, but it sounds like they are listening to their clientele and will always be looking for ways to improve. Although the main floor isn’t that large, the space really opens up when you head upstairs. It’s a really cool lounge space with a few leather couches and the promise of an added shuffle board table. All in all, they are doing great out the gates and I look forward to them rolling out more new unique brews!
