This non-​profit is a passionate advocate for their clients to succeed in applying for and securing a new job. They provide clothing that not only the woman can take pride in wearing but also allows the woman to discover pride in herself. That pride comes not only from the clothes but also the training that Dress for Success provides for women to enable them to successfully compete in today’s tough job market.
The effect that Dress for Success has does not stop with the woman. Many of the women seeking jobs have children to care for, too. So, Dress for Success changes the lives of her children, as well. The woman is able to earn a living and provide for her children. They are self-​sustaining and, in many cases, are removed from the assistance rolls. The experience in self reliance is not lost on the children and again, another source of pride for the woman.
There are many wonderful non-​profits out there. This organization ranks high by virtue of the scale of assistance they provide, the breadth of that help and the extent to which the hand up flows to more people than just the one wearing the set of clothes and depositing the paycheck.
Dress for Success deserves great credit for how much they accomplish with their almost entirely volunteer staff. That is true passion, true power and true purpose in life.
