Exactly what a local yarn shop should be. Very friendly service, lots of great yarn, patterns and notions, and someone sitting in a comfie chair knitting some socks. I will be back.

A great place in Old Town to get sticks and strings! Or, knitting and crocheting tools and yarn. They also have patterns and classes.
I went recently on a weekday afternoon to check out their yarn selection for baby blankets. The shop is actually an old house with its own parking lot. Upon entering the front door, I was warmly greeted and asked if it was my first time. I think one of the owners showed me around and recommended a pattern and yarn for me. I started on my project already, and the yarn is lovely.
I gave 4 stars only because I only went once. However, once I finish this project, I’ll be back to check out what else they have. I love supporting small businesses like this rather than big box stores. Also, the architecture in Old Town is interesting to look at.
