I was excited to try this place, made an appointment a week in advance. They called to cancel at the last minute, with no attempt to rectify the situation, even when I explained I was on a tight schedule since I was about to leave for vacation. Kind of sad.

So my review is ONLY based on their massages. I typically try to get a massage due to chronic upper back pain.
The Salon it’s self is well placed and decorated. I barely had to wait long before I got in with my masseuse. She was professional and asked where and if the pressure was deep enough. She literally worked on my head, neck and upper back (some lower) for an hour. On top of that… for a GREAT price.
Also, I like to talk while I have a massage. Keep in mind, not all like it or even good at it. This lady was a wonderful conversationalist. Thus my appointment was perfect and I made the appointmen only 2 days before I met her and she had a wide open schedule. I will DEFINITELY go again if I have the time and money.

I adore Chelsea! She saved my bleached out mess and made sure I looked how I wanted without judging my previous poor decisions. She makes helpful suggestions and knows a lot about hair and current trends. I feel like I’m chatting with an old friend during my appointments and I’m not usually a social person.
Chelsea also fixed my pre-teen cousin’s hair to her AND her mother’s liking! The girl had decided to cut her own bangs and had quite big chunks missing on either side but after the fix, you couldn’t tell. Chelsea cleverly layered it without sacrificing too much length.
All of the other staff I’ve encountered were very friendly and professional and there is a reward punch card for products!

I love Patrick’s, have been coming here for years and years. Melissa and Karen both do pedicures (several other ladies do, too, but I don’ t know their names). I have feet issues (medical), so they are very good listeners and take care to make sure I am comfortable and that they are not hurting me. The vibrating/massaging tub-chairs are wonderful and very relaxing. Patrick’s offers a HUGE array of services. This is THE place to visit on the west side for hair, nails, skin care, cosmetics, extensions, tanning, waxing, and massage. Mostly appt. only but if you just want your eyebrows done, stop in. Somebody will be available to help you. Excellent reception staff, too.

Large, busy spa/salon with a wide array of services available. I had a gift card to Patrick’s so I thought I would try it out. They are always busy and have a lot of stylists and nail techs there all of the time. I had an appointment, but I did notice they took walk ins as well. They had a wide variety of customers, who all seemed to be regulars. The only complaint I have is that the work stations looked a little sloppy.

Ive only been there once. I got a nice minty scalp massage and the haircut was great but the price was ridiculous. I have not returned since because I thought it was way more than I look to spend on a good ‘do. Now I pay $ 65 for cut AND color. Really. The scalp massage is nice and they are professional but I can get the same awesome look for less and touch it up more frequently.

I have been going to Patrick’s Salon for about 10 years, followed them as they’ve moved locations 3x.
I see Cherish for my haircuts, about every 6 weeks. She is young and hip, so she knows whats fresh, but she also can keep my style professional for work. She works wonders on my lifeless hair.
My daughter who is bi-racial goes to Renee to get her hair blown out and flat-ironed. This woman is amazing, she can wash, blow-dry, cut and style in an hour. My daughter has VERY curly hair past her shoulders and Renee is SO fast and it looks great.
My daughter also sees Jocelyn to get her hair relaxed. Jocelyn is fantastic. She didn’t hurt my daughter’s head at all, with all the combing, relaxing and pulling. She made my daughter’s hair looks as straight and healthy as mine. It was amazing.
Their prices are comparable and the service is great!

I have been a client for 6+ years. Everyone is great, but I use Jessica-Renee for my nails and Renee for my hair. Next to ChuckECheese on the westside. I recommend calling for an appointment, but not required

I’m not sure if Jocelyn still works here but, she can do magic on hair! Every time I come home, I call her up and try to get an appointment. Apparently, I’m not the only one because she’s always booked up.
This salon caters to all kinds of hair. They also do nails and other treatments. It’s really clean and the people who work here, take pride in their jobs. To be totally honest, I wouldn’t get my hair done in Atlanta for the first 2 years that I lived there. Instead, I waited until I was back in Lansing, and came to Patrick’s! They’re that good! Seriously. Ask for Jocelyn.
