Genius Phone Repair

I came here because my my screen was cracked but operable but I destroyed it trying to replace just the top glass part of the screen (never try this… you need a whole new digitizer installed). There are only two phone repair stores in Lansing of the several total that can repair a Galaxy S2 and the other store looked kind of shady. Genius didnt have my screen needed on hand which is understandable since it is from 2011 so he called the around for me to find one. He said there was one available at the Cascade Genius and gave me directions, so I ended up driving about 45 minutes to have it done same day. It took about three hours and cost $ 130. This is expensive but I saw him take the screen out of the box and could see it was a genuine part. All the screens I could find online were replicas and cost about $ 80…and I would have to do it myself… so I found this to be a good deal. The guys at both stores were professional and the places were both clean and organized. Some repair places look sketchy so Im not sure Id trust them to be using OEM parts.

The fellas at Genius Phone Repair in Lansing (just across the border in Delta Township) were professional, helpful, friendly and fast. They quickly admitted my busted iPhone 5 for screen replacement and had it ready for me when I came back.
I found out about this location because of a GroupOn. It’s easy to find, easy to park and they have a nice selection of products for sale. I can’t say enough about Jayson and his team at Genius Phone Repair in Lansing. Thanks!
