DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

Prices are just ok. My problem is the fact that the customer service here sucks. They won’t even honor their own ad. My girlfriend found a pair of shoes at DSW online for $ 39.95. So we goto the store to buy them. When we finally find the exact same shoes in the store they are $ 54.95. So the sales person calls the manager. The manager says the only way we can get them for the sale price is to have them order her a pair. Order a pair for what? You have like 60 pairs of them in the store. Will NEVER return to this store again. When you won’t even honor your own ad then you are nothing but a P.O.S. company.

Thank heavens for DSW. They have 42 aisles of top name foot wear to tempt you. DSW in Eastwood has been there since the inception of the Eastwood plaza. They offer adult men’s and women’s foot wear. Wondering the aisles for shoes is fun; but the best part of the store is at the back of the store; CLEARANCE! The colored stickers are super easy to understand especially for the convenient cheat sheets posted above the racks. And when you find a yellow label not listed on the cheat sheet — BONUS — 80% off! Staff always greets you and are ready and willing to help you. Management has always been fair and accommodating. I will always recommend DSW.

Typical DSW. Plenty to choose from. Traveling and left my sneakers at home so stopped in to get a decent pair. Nice choices on the clearance racks. Good customer service. Easy check out.

I’ve lived in this area for some 40 years and until DSW opened there had never really been a good place for men’s shoes! I’m not saying that DSW is the finest shoe store I’ve ever been to… but it is really a terrific consistent ever charging source for shoes! They carry current names and styles and cover all the bases from sandles to boots… I always find more than what I need. The store is clean and the help is usually available and pleasant. I highly recommend this shoe store!

Let me pretty much explain how this store location tried to play me. Let me also explain that this isn’t my first time shopping here. Just the worst experience I’ve encountered. I went in and bought a pair of shoes. I didn’t try the shoes on because I knew exactly what I wanted before going in and also knew my shoe size. So anyways I go to the cashier and buy them. To my surprise when I made it home they felt a bit small. (perhaps they ran small or something) but anyhow I decided that I preferred a size up. I then call them to see if they had the size that I was looking for and they said yes and would leave it at the front counter for me. When I made it to the store, which was like 2 hours later, the shoes were not @ the front. I had to wait like 6 minutes for someone to come from the back with them. Finally they come to the front and the cashier exchanges them for me. My first thought was like «wow, she checked the sizes pretty fast and hurried up and put the shoes back in the box to give to me.» I let it slide though and took the shoes. When I made it to my car, something just told me to look @ the shoes again because the cashier just didn’t seem right. & so I did. The shoes that were giving to me honestly and I do mean HONESTLY look and smell like someone had just took them off their funky feet. Plus they were scratched in the front which meant that someone did in fact wear them. That’s probably why it took longer for them to bring me the shoes from the back and more than likely why, they weren’t in the front like I was told they would be. I IMMEDIATELY went back in and got my refund. I will only be going back to this dsw location if I’m just that desperate. It’s the only one in Lansing but that will not stop me from shopping somewhere else. Two thumbs Down on this one Eastwood Town Center DSW. You just lost a loyal customer.

So since I have become a shoe addict I haven’t been able to go to a DSW. We went there last weekend because I was way more excited to buy shoes for an upcoming wedding than the dress.
This DSW is giant. They have a very large selection and they do a good job of keeping the styles together to make shopping easier. They put out a few tables of the season’s trending styles right in front.
I was able to find 2 pairs of heels that I absolutely love. Both of which were on sale so it made it even better! Now all I have to do is find a dress to match them.
Men have a smaller selection than women, no surprise. The sale/​clearance racks definitely lack in the larger sizes (husband is size 13). Guys with big feet need shoes too!
This store is awesome, but very dangerous for shoe addicts. Beware!

Welcome to shoe heaven! Here you can run through aisles and aisles of shoes and try on as many until your heart is content. This place is THE best and the prices are so much cheaper which is why they rock! The workers don’t bother you and don’t judge you when you spend lots of time there trying on shoes or playing with the big frilly hats they have :)
They have racks in the back with shoes on sale and most of them are the ones you take a look at and say «ummm WHO would wear these?» They have all the brands in all the department stores that are so much more expensive like Nine West at such affordable prices.
Make sure you get a DSW card so you can get discounts and notifcations on specials they are having :) Anyone who loves shoes should shop here!
