Not sure which is worse, the outrageous prices or the awful customer service. The one guy acts like you are wasting his time coming in to the store and will refuse to even acknowledge you as a person, let alone potential customer. Their prices are far above average, and coupled with their pretentious attitudes, it’s a mystery how they are still open(besides some people afraid to venture anywhere else for fear of ‘big box stores’). I have had much better experience at dicks down the street, and won’t hesitate to drive to Mason(not just guns) or the shop in Perry for better prices, service and overall customer appreciation.

Great small business that has been a «go to» gunshop in the Lansing area for years. You may have to wait if it’s busy, but it’s worth the wait to get service and items you won’t find in big box stores(they sent me to them years ago when I needed a scope installed).

I find this place offensive to do business with. Most of the inventory they have is over priced. The staff is quick to great you when you walk in the door but customer service stops there. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

I have been a customer since 1989. I have bought and sold a number of guns here — including the purchase of my favorite deer rifle(Model 70 Super Grade 270 — Leupold scope!) with trigger job and perfect scope mounting. This is an old time gun shop that big box stores just can’t match.

Can’t agree with the previous review any more. I’ve been in twice, and the staff is rude, not helpful, and I simply would never, ever buy something there.

How is this place still operating? Cash-in-hand, as a prospective gun buyer we went here looking for a particular model, which they just happened to have! After being pointed out where it was located in the glass case(bottom shelf) we peeked around looking at it. Hmmm, no offer to get it out and show it to us, weird. Guess what? No visible price! Guy behind the counter says it has a tag… but it’s upside– down. Guy still makes no offer to get said item out of glass case, says its around $ 700. Seriously? Around? Like, ballpark? Sweet Jesus, a $ 700 item that you can’t bend over to show(or even find out the exact price). Then again this was the kind of guy that would only bend over for some french fries that he just dropped because it would be too much effort for anything else but food. Don’t bother with this place. Their items are OVERPRICED, the staff is RUDE and they just DON’T CARE. There are many other options within Mid Michigan with better selection, staff that cares and decent prices. Stay away.
