Carla Guggenheim, DO

Dr. Guggenheim is an absolute wonderful doctor — she’s caring, thoughtful and will even return phone calls on the weekends! The best thing about her is that she’s a complete straight-​shooter, and she doesn’t blow smoke up your uh, you know. Dr. Guggenheim truly cares about her patients, she takes her time with her patients and let’s you know what is going on without mincing words. I have recommended Dr. Guggenheim to a number of friends, she’s the BEST rheumatologist in Michigan as far as I’m concerned. If I could get her to move to Colorado (where I live now) I’d see her again in a heartbeat. Another reviewer called Dr. G «bossy» and I disagree, she’s not bossy, she’s direct and honest which I greatly appreciate. Dr. G gave me her honest, professional opinion which helped me to make the right decisions regarding my treatment. Thanks Dr. Guggenheim!

Not my favourite rheumatologist by far. After I had a change in insurance, I had to see Dr. Guggenheim, and certainly not by choice. She’s not a bad doctor, but I am not partial to her demeanor. She’s bossy and there’s just something that doesn’t click well with me about her.
