Canton Fast Chinese Food

Best fast Chinese food in Lansing! Cooked fresh to order and never disappoints. We have gotten food here several times and it’s always fresh, warm, and delicious.

I’m shocked. Nestled between a cleaners and pizza joint Canton hides like a leaf among trees. It’s not a dine in type of place. Its a counter and drink cooler walk-​in/​walk-​out kinda place. There is no inviting or welcoming décor. Very Mom and Pop shop setup. The signs are bold personalized sharpie notices making clear that only Cash is accepted.
The aromas were traditional fast food Chinese. The combo menu was simple as were the specials. Main dish, rice (fried or steamed) and veggie roll. My roll was lack luster, had been sitting in a hot pan but I don’t doubt that they have a quick turnover.
My order of Almond Chicken was a great selection. It had tang, spice, sweet and savory elements. Cabbage, green peppers and onions were plentiful. The halved almonds were as well. The chicken was sliced white unbreaded meat stir fried and blended well with the flavors. Other accoutrements I cannot name were included and made the dish filling and tasty. The heat packed into the sauce was a surprise. At first taste it was semi sweet and nutty then the heat would warm my tongue and shock my throat. This was a good flavor for fast food. The fried rice was typical and plentiful but my almond chicken made up for anything mediocre. I have enough left for tomorrows lunch!

OMG!!! This is the best fast Chinese food in Lansing. It’s a total hole in the wall and really greasy but, I am addicted to it. My favorite is the chicken fried rice and egg rolls!
I don’t think that there’s much indoor seating. I always order take out.
