Main Street Apartments

I lived here for a year & it was the worst experience of my life. I lived on the 2^nd floor (of a 3 floor apt) our neighbors were loud between the times of 11pm-​6am, you know when normal people are trying to work. Between those hours it would seriously sound like they were dropping bowling balls over our heads. It would wake us up out of a deep sleep. The guy above us also paced and walked back and forth between those times (11pm-​6am) stomping, stomping, stomping. Pacing, pacing, & pacing! It was seriously enough to drive someone INSANE! I was working 7am to 6 pm and I was exhausted I just wanted sleep. It was annoying that they got to sleep in peace while we were at work, then we had to stay up to their constant noise ALL NIGHT/​EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! So after a while I couldn’t take it anymore. I grabbed a broom stick and slammed it on the ceiling… kind of like a warning to shut up. Well, these assholes must’ve heard, got mad and decided to jump up and down. I thought the ceiling was going to BREAK! So I decided to go to the office of main street apartments. Their response was that they would send the neighbors above us a letter. Seriously? A letter? What is that going to do? Why couldn’t they pick up the phone & tell them to stop it? So after the letter, guess what?! Nothing changed. Still kept up all night. Tired all day from our neighbors and the staff here doing NOTHING ABOUT IT! We decided to take it to the next level. One night it was 1am, we were still exhausted from the night before from these idiots and it started, bang bang bang! We called the cops. The cops went up and said something to these assholes. Then guess what… an hr later 2 am – more banging! Hell no. we called the cops AGAIN! Needless to say, this never ended while we lived here. We could not wait to move out. This scarred us, we will always be on the top floor now just so we don’t have to deal with that. I highly recommend staying clear of this dump, who obviously don’t care about the people living there!
