Extra Space Storage

I’ve stored at EZStorage across the street before and in comparison, it’s a down grade. Carts are not readily available and that sucked because the entrance near my unit was under construction/​repair so I had to walk a green mile to get to it. Oh yea, that’s another thing – they’re only one level so you have to walk far to get to anything. If you’d like a cart, you need to trek to the office and submit your license. Upon arrival, there was trash strewn that another renter had maybe left behind and my unit had not been cleaned prior and actually had broken glass and debris on the floor. The worker there did come swiftly to clean it up. It’s also very cold in there even though it’s «climate controlled.» I was told climate control is actually 55°.
I chose this facility because they were very polite over the phone and when I changed my mind to go back to EZStorage because their price was too high, they were able to accommodate internet pricing. I was I initially offered a 5×10 for $ 109 a and wound up with a 10×15 for $ 104. First month is free, but they tack on lots of fees and you only get one promo per year while EZS offers two. Not excited about being here, but the price is decent and customer service so far has been inviting.

This storage lot is ok. I’ve stored many times and this one is pretty much the same. My only issue with here, they don’t have carts! You go there and walk throughout the entire storage looking for carts and there are none. Myself and another client looked through for 10 minutes and when I went to the office, his response was that they had 10 and now they have none. That’s bad responsibility. So I had to park all the way at the end of the storage building and bring my heavy boxes in one by one… I had 4. Or park at a ramp, lift all the boxes up the ramp and bring them in one by one. That’s a great inconvenience. I guess next time I go there, I can run across the street to the uhaul storage and rent a dollie (sp.) to bring to Extra Space Storage.
Other than that, the storage seems clean!
