Glad I found this store. Great inventory of yarn with both luxurious and common ones. I chose a yarn grown and spun locally. Love it.

Amazing awesome staff! Instead of shooing me out the door for being late on Sunday right before they close, the lady(forgot to ask name…) graciously let me poke around the shop real quick to get what I need. A+++ for out of this world service and small town friendliness! I will definitely make sure to stop by next time I’m in the area. Selection of yarn is good, prices are totally reasonable and comparable to all others on the market. I left with 7 skeins of beautiful hand dyed yarn, I can’t resist all the yumminess here… Trust me guys, this is definitely a LYS to put on your list!

Lots of beautiful, colorful, quality yarns for sale. They also sell patterns and have various completed examples on display for inspiration. The woman helping(not sure if she was the owner or not) was very kind.

I visited Knittypurls today and the ladies were very helpful. I’m a new knitter and was able to find the yarn I was looking for. Please stop by if you’re in the neighborhood.

I adore this place. I’m a quasi-knitter(if it’s anything square-ish, I’ll be okay) and yarn is like beads to me — candy. Unedible candy, but candy nonetheless. So I love tiny little stores filled with beautiful yarns(you’re going to find more of the«nicer» stuff, less of the name-brands that I recognize) and this definitely fits the bill. The shopkeeper is extremely friendly and patient, which is good, and she knows her yarns. We drooled together over the silk/wool blends I chose. Mmm… silk/wool blends. I want to come here and buy birthday presents for my knitting friends. A lot of the businesses in Langley look to be struggling(thanks, bad economy) and I’d hate to see this one go under, so if you’re road trippin’ through Langley, hit up this yarn shop and buy something. They have some great sale prices.

From the moment we walked past the shop, I knew I’d be going back once it actually opened. It’s a pleasantly crowded place, not untidy but full of yarn! Yarn! As Amaliya L. says, lots of your name brand stuff but also quite a lot of hand-painted, hand-dyed stuff as well. Note: I marked the price range as «moderate» but you will find yarns from $ 5/skein and up, so it has a range of prices. While at first I thought the shopkeeper didn’t understand a word I was saying when I asked about entrelac, it might be because I was giddy with happiness, clutching a hank of yarn to my chest and breathing heavily like a stalker. She steered me(gently) toward more suitable material for my project, discussing pros and cons of various yarns until I finally chose not only something completely different that was on display but also the yarns with which to make it. I’ll definitely hit this place up again next time I’m in Langley!

I am a sucker for knitting stores. Knitting has always been a passion of mine. one that I have not had the time to do in the past three years. Still… I dream… Knitting stores can be a little bit intimidating. I can never resist entering one. This store featured many well known brands but also carried an extensive line of hand-painteds and hand-dyeds…I am sure if the shopowner looked closely. she would have seen the drool dribbling out of the corners of my mouth. If I had more time and did not have 4 impatient men waiting for me. I would have wanted to touch every single skein, look through all the books, and just daydream. They had an entire wall of the latest accoutrements, needles, and patterns. and in the back of the store… I saw through the open door, a gigantic whisk and ballwinder that I wanted so badly to play with. I left as quickly as possible… stores like this are trouble for me and my wallet… I have 6 huge rubbermaids at home with someday projects. and I knew that I would really piss off my husband if I bought more.
