A group of us came here over Memorial Day weekend to start off a day of wine tasting. I remarked to a friend that I needed to throw the cup of coffee I had away before I started tasting wine. The man behind the tasting counter interjected and told me to, «Use my words if I wanted to use the trash can. Use the word please.» I was so shocked by how condescending and thoughtless the comment was that I replied, «I’m sorry? Do you have a trash can I could use?» Again he replied to me, an adult woman, «Use your words now, say the word please.» It was the rudest thing any business owner has ever said to me. The group of us looking to taste wine and buy a few bottles promptly left. Their wine may be good, but the gendered nonsense and condescension is completely unacceptable. I would never go back here again. There are plenty of amazing tasting rooms on the island that you can avoid any day-ruining run ins at this shop and still taste some good wine on the island!

A cute little wine and beer + cute table accessories store. A lady, assuming the owner, was friendly and gave us tons of info in the beer she carries.

A great little wine shop to be sure, but that’s not all. They also sell some unique deli items and Le Souk pottery. Le Souk comes in some pretty amazing and colorful designs which are hard to appreciate without actually seeing them for yourself. The wine is very reasonably priced and their suggestions have always been a delight. This is one of our mandatory stops when visiting Langley.

A local wine shop ran by a friendly, knowledgeable couple. They have wine tasting for $ 1/glass and several regional wines for sale. They also have sausage and sausage tasting and wine accessories.

I’ve been to the 2nd St Wine Shop a couple dozen times now and have to say that it is amongst the most down to earth, honest, enjoyable wine tasting experiences you’ll ever have. Wine tastings and cheese plates are fairly priced, and the offering of Washington wines is hard to match. If you find yourself in Langley with a few minutes to spare, don’t hesitate to drop in.

A cute wine shop in downtown Langley. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable. There is a tasting bar, and a large selection of local wines. We ordered wine(and beer) from 2nd Street for our wedding and were thrilled with their selections. If you’re planning a trip to Langley definitely check out this great wine shop.

Husband and I found this wonderful shop on an exploration of Langley. What a marvelous find. Laurel was our sampler, she was knowledgeable, friendly and non-threatening in the way some shops can be. We left with knowledge about Washington wines and some excellent wines. Great place, will be back.

Had a fantastic experience at this wine shop on Whidbey Island. The shop is filled with an excellent variety of Washington wines, all at extremely reasonable prices. The tastings are inexpensive as well — only $ 4 for 8 tastes. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable about wine, and they’re friendly and unpretentious. Stop in for a taste or for some great wine recommendations!

My boyfriend and I really liked it here! Super nice owners! We did the $ 2 tasting, and were given great selections. We don’t really know what we are doing when we do tastings, but the owners were super nice and explained everything in «beginner» terms. No intimidation here! I really appreciate the owners being so helpful. They even recommended a beer tasting around the corner for my boyfriend who mentioned he prefers beer over wine(imagine that). I am not a red person at all… but they opened up my eyes to some really nice reds. I will be coming back here next time I am in Langley!

This wine tasting room is in sleepy downtown Langley. Featuring an eclectic mix of wines from around the region and daily tastings. The wines here are more on the higher end. $ 2 tasting fee for 5 wines. And they threw in a special Porto. They have cheese and crackers to clear your palate. Another 40-minutes here and its turning into a wonderful day. Another room conquered. On to the next winery.

Down to earth and expert wine recommendations with wide variety and reasonable prices. The wine tastings are a «steal» and a fun experience because Laurel Davis, owner is welcoming and knowledgeable.
