I used to come to this park a lot in my younger years, when I used to wander around with my friends partaking in bad kid things. Recently I wanted to switch up my park game and head over here for a little nostalgia. It’s an okay park. I love the high bridges that conquer the overhead and the crick(I just can’t type creek, it doesn’t work). The playground is a good size. I recall being allowed to climb up to the old tracks to go for a walk, but there were a few signs making it very apparent that you aren’t supposed to be up there. I did go up, because I’m a rebel and love the view of the park from up high. It’s got a bunch of crappy tags all over the place and not-so pleasant amount of trash. It seems rather dumpy anymore. There are better options.

Perfect little chunk of paradise! Bring your dog and play in the creek; Wander down the winding, whimsical trails. Definitely worth it!

Playwicki PARK, not to be confused with Playwicki FARM, is a beautiful park down the road West from Playwicki Farm. To access this park, make a right out of Playwicki Farm’s driveway, go through one traffic light, cross the creek, and the park entrance is on the left, just after the bridge. Driving down the entrance, you will drive under a train track bridge and into the beautiful lush park, with the Neshaminy Creek flowing along the left! Parking is plenty right at the end of the drive way. The park has several different access points to the creek which offer great rock skipping opportunities. It also offers a very clean and well-kept basketball court, a playground(which is a bit dated, but still fun-it has a terrifying metal slide), and two very clean pavilions. I believe they are available to rent, this would be done through the Parks Department. They also have an old baseball field. They also have a pretty clean bathroom facility. There are a couple great paths throughout the park, but the best one is towards the back of the park, and it follows along the creek. This path from beginning to end takes about an hour, so plan 2 hours for this walk if you want to go to the end and back! It mostly follows very close to the creek, but also jets back into the woods for some pretty views. Frogs, Turtles, and Deer are a plenty, and if you’re lucky you’ll see some fish! Great place to take your dog.
