Nice enough place in an adorable town. Here’s the rub, though: the current owners appear to be (to me, at least) rude and poorly educated. I ran into some people who recommended the place, but when I approached «Johnny,» he acted as if I were radioactive and worthless. So, I booked a room at lovely Mrs B’s instead, and am now enjoying Trish and Matt’s fine hospitality.
Wait them out. Someone will buy it and live up to the potential of the place.

Lanesboro is known as the Bed and Breakfast capital of Minnesota. Grandma’s Inn is nothing that will capture your imagination. It is clean but plain and a bit musty. It is also thick with the scent of cigarette smoke.
The rooms are odd with the exception of the Red Room and the ‘breakfast’ portion seems to only be available on weekends.
This is not a horrible place. I just have to imagine there are many better options in the area that offer full service.
