I received a massage from Erica. I can say that it wasn’t a GREAT massage but I can’t say whether or not it was an OK massage. When she was ready to start the massage, she asked me whether I was ready for the holidays. So we started talking and didn’t finish until after the massage was done. For better or worse, I’m not comfortable saying that I would like to just be quiet during the massage. My suggestion is that they ask up front whether you would like to remain quiet or not. I would not go back. Elements in Horsham is MUCH better.

I always hate to speak negatively about a business, but it’s my responsibility as a true Unilocaler to tell the truth. I came across this spa via a Unilocal/​groupon deal & scheduled a body wrap. My disclaimer: The staff at this establishment was very kind & gracious. However, the service was AWFUL. I was a new client at this spa, but I was no newbie to a body wrap. I could tell that their approach wasn’t promising any inch loss, but I was at least looking forward to some relaxation and detoxification. FROM THE START, the body wrap was FALLING APART & my body wrap technician (while very nice) didn’t seem experienced whatsoever. I tried to tell her that the «detoxification wrap» was loose & freezing cold, but it became awkward & exhausting. I should have walked away 5 minutes into the service because it was evident that this spa (while very kind) would not even come close to meeting my expectations. If your goal is to DETOXIFY or to RELAX, OR TO LOSE INCHES, DO NOT GO TO Massage, Wellness & Beyond.
[Despite the awkward & unsuccessful experience at the spa, I left a 20% gratuity for my body wrap technician]. She was very kind, but I would NEVER return & I would NEVER encourage anyone to visit this spa for a body wrap. Again, I ate to speak negatively, but I hope my advice is helpful.

I’ve been to MWB three separate times– once for a body wrap, massage, and facial, next for a brazilian wax, and finally, for a spray tan.
Each time, I was pleased and had no difficulty making an appointment. The body wrap, massage, and facial were purchased as a gift for me by my husband. The massage was excellent, and everyone was very friendly. After my appointment, they offered a special promotion, in which I could buy half priced services. I chose the brazilian and a spray tan– I had a year to use it.
The brazilian was great. Results were excellent and I never felt uncomfortable. The spray tan was also very good– once again, the technician was very nice and reapplied so that I was happy with the color.
Everyone there is very friendly, and the quality of the services was very good. I definitely recommend it.

I love Massage Wellness and Beyond! I staring going there with a groupon deal and got hooked! Erica is fantastic and has really helped reduce my stress level and helps me manage my arthritis pain in my hip. I now visit on the regular and even just bought a gift certificate for my sister for her birthday! I would certainly recommend them!

Originally had a groupon for MWB. Took quite a while to get in touch with someone, apparently there is no receptionist. After months of back and forth, I finally got an appt and it was wonderful! I also bought a ½ off coupon for a return visit. Now I cannot get in touch with them again. I finally gave up, I don’t have the time to call and email every day without a return call. Groupon Beware!

I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment for 3 days straight calling at different times and no one answered. thank god I made a habit of scheduling appts BEFORE I buy the groupon. will not be visiting.

I was scheduled to have a facial and massage on Saturday. I arrived 15 minutes early because I do like to unwind and relax beforehand. Unfortunately when I arrived there was no one there and the place was locked up tight. Other than several shady looking people smoking outside of the building, there was no one in sight.
I called the spa number at 10:05 just to see if someone was in a back room and possiblydid not hear me knocking. I got the voicemail and left a message.
About ½ hr later I received a very cryptic message on my phone, somewhat accusatory that my voicemail was received at only10:05. Really? I have had many massages and facials and never once have I had to wait for someone to arrive. Most of my previous experiences, they have purposly told me to arrive at least 15 min early to change and relax a bit before my massage.
I must also mention that this was a GROUPON purchase and I do believe that this was part of the reason for my unfortunate experience. I will be contacting GROUPON for a refund.
This place needs lots of work on customer relations.

Massage, Wellness, & Beyond is not in North Wales, it’s in Lansdale. I went to both locations for massages and can say I have left very relaxed. The owner is very friendly and so was the other masseuse I had last time. I was given 2 groupons for Christmas (one from husband and one from my parents), which technically you are only supposed to be able to use one. Since they were gifts, I appreciate them honoring both gift certificates. So, 5 stars for customer service and 5 stars for the massages that I’ve received! The true test to a good massage (or service anywhere) is whether I would purchase the massage without the gift cert. For this place, the answer is yes.

I purchased 2 massages one for me and my wife from GROUPON. I called the office, got the voice mail then got a message that the box was full. I went through this experience 2 more times. I finally was able to leave a voice mail but no one called me back. I left another, no call back. I contacted GROUPON told them at this point i wasnt going to be comfortable with a massage if i ever was able to reach them so to please refund my money. I know other companies with better customer service that can give a good massage.

I had bought a LivingSocial deal and after reading the prior review, I was very hesitant, and had the same problem of scheduling a massage. However, once I had it scheduled, I did not have any problems. I think they were having some staffing issues, hence the lack of communications or just starting up, understandable. This is a very small business and was located behind a yoga studio. I have had massages at Spas within Center City, but this was slightly more convenient, so I thought I give it a try. Erica, the masseuse was great, just enough pressure without being overkill. Although there were hiccups in the beginning, overall, I had a pleasant experience.

This place has a lack of customer service! I had paid for a spa package on Groupon and tried to make an appointment. After 16 phone messages and a dozen emails, and driving to the location and finding no one there 3 times, I got my money back! Never once did I receive a call or email back! What kind of business are they running? Hours are by appointment only and you can never get someone to answer or reply!
Now on July 21, 2012 they have the same Groupon deal going on… I wouldn’t even spend your time that will cause u stress on this place!
