Me, my husband and another couple dined at Twilight last evening. This experience, from service to table was outstanding. We ordered apps, the Mozz cheese squares, lightly breaded, and deep fried to a golden brown, and served with a marinara sauce for dipping, you could tell the Mozz squares were fresh, not frozen, and the duck pot stickers, yum! We ordered dinner, my husband ordered the steak sandwich, which was very tender, my friend ordered the rib eye, again, cooked to perfection, and tender, her husband ordered the rib eye stir fry, I ordered the salmon, blackened, with the cool cucumber sauce, minus the capers, well, my salmon was cooked to perfection, I cannot tell you when the last time was that I ordered Salmon cooked like that, not dry, cooked almost to a medium, I ordered the yummy garlic honey green beans. Our server, was right on point, being a server myself, we are most likely to critic every aspect of our dining experience, she didn’t skip a beat. We are from Chicago, and building up in Watersmeet, this was our second visit, and for now, The Twilight is our favorite. Bona petit!

My husband teases me that I get excited when I see cloth napkins. but more often than not it indicates quality. We’ve been here twice and will keep coming. An impeccable Grey Goose martini, a generous Stella to drink. We both had the perch, very good and a half order is plenty. I had the sea salt baked potato, it was very good … Husband had the sweet potato mash with strudel topping. Also good. He had an interesting soup and I had the salad bar which was fresh and excellent, especially for the area which often has a disappointing«ice berg» type offering(actual chopped bacon vs pertrified bits lol). It’s a bit slow, but we didn’t mind the pacing.

Dinner was great! Service and wait(don’t let the immediate seating fool you) was very slow.

Went here a little nervous having read the reviews on Unilocal and trip advisor. My husband and I came here with another couple for dinner on a Wed night 8÷12÷2015. We pulled into the gravel parking area and saw there were lots of cars at around 6:30pm. Walked in to the front bar area that had a lot of people drinking. Mostly couples, middle aged. Waited at the host stand for a few minutes before a lady came up and asked us how many. We were seated in the back darker dining room, behind the one with the larger glass windows overlooking the outside fire pit. Our server Amy dropped of a basket of bread stick crackers and a small cup of cheese spread. Loved the cheese spread! We ordered our drinks. The ladies had the house old fashions(Brandy, sweet) which came in a large goblet. They were excellent. Boys had soda. We ordered the cheese curds and duck pot stickers as apps. The pot stickers came on a bed of rice with a sauce drizzled over the top. Very good. The curds were nice sized and came with a tomato sauce for dipping. I ordered the rib eye for dinner, other entrees were the perch dinner special ½ order, Cheeseburger and prime rib sandwich. They were out of the sweet potato strudel. The ladies got the soup. One was a very unusual beef soup that tasted like beef chop suey — but wonderful flavor. The chicken rice soup was hearty and good. We saw the salad bar but were not in the mood but it looked OK to make a green salad. We were very pleased with our food. Being from Chicago I am picky about my rib eye and I have to say mine rivaled those I have had a Sullivan’s or Morton’s. Perfectly cooked Med rare with nice marbling. Not gritty or chewy. Very impressed! The perch was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. ½ order was like 7 pieces and my friend could not eat it all. Husband had the garlic beans with his burger. That is one of the side choices that you have to try. The sauce was so good! We ordered seconds on the old fashioned, glad the boys were driving home as the second had us quite buzzed. Wish we had room for dessert. The couple at the table next to us were celebrating a birthday and had the apple crisp on ice cream in a martini glass that looked awesome. We will have to try the desserts and ice-cream drinks on our next visit. They had pink squirrels, brandy alexander’s… Oh yum! Overall we were very pleased with the dinners and food. Service was good, prompt but not overbearing. We went out the fire pit afterwards to just sit for a bit before we left. We will be back!
