I have been to J Joseph a few times and have had nothing but wonderful results! Emma and Roy have both done my hair and I would recommend them to anyone! I first went to J Joseph after being at another local salon (that messed up my hair). Not only was Roy able to fix my hair but he and Emma made my hair BETTER! I won’t go to anyone else!

False Advertising !!!
I was so happy to find this offer in the local paper, I have been looking for a new stylist since moving here from Brandon. I currently drive all the way to Brandon to have my hair done! So this was a great enticement to try a new place close by. I made an appt. on their web site and received a call to make my actual appt. I scheduled with one of their level 3 stylist and informed her I had the offer of $ 25 off. She then told me the owner stated that he would not honor HIS offer with a level 3 stylist only with the lower level stylist!!! I was shocked ! If I’m going to switch stylist I want go to a the one that I would see in the future! Very poor business practices! I will just continue driving to Brandon !

Went in and the owner Roy is an absolute ass… Doesn’t deserve my business. Was wanting to purchase gift cards and his snot locker attitude was a deal breaker. Word of advice Roy, you have a salon in Land O Lakes florida. Not LA, not NYC, heck not even Tampa.

I had a spa gift card and had been here before for a networking event. So I scheduled a 90 minute Swedish massage explaining that my trap was hurting the most and I really want to focus on my shoulder and neck. After 60 minutes the masseuse told me I was done. When I checked out the girl at the front was clueless. I had to ask where I was supposed to pay, she started to charge me for 90 minutes and I had to explain it was only 60 minutes. Then I asked for a bottle of water, they did not have one. Atmosphere was clean and pleasant, but that was it. Too expensive on everything else, i will not come back here.

The first time I went the stylist didn’t seem experienced in cutting curly hair. $ 200 later and although the color was nice the style wasn’t anything I asked for. The second time I went the color and style was pretty good but I can certainly do without the $ 220 price tag no matter how much free wine and cookies they serve. I won’t be back.

I went to the salon quite a while back, but decided to go ahead and write a review. I have had a lot of my friends praise the salon so I decided to try it. The salon was very nice and really clean. I wasn’t that impressed with my cut that i got and probably won’t go back again.
