First, I don’t usually write reviews but decided to do so because of what I read. After reading the reviews, we were somewhat reluctant to visit the restauarant, especially because the former oriental restauarant, Ichabahn(spelling may be wrong) was just ok, and something I would rate as 3 stars. However our experience at this restaurant was much, much better. Read about fish odors and there were none. Read about not to eat seafood: I ate the mussels, baby clams, oysters, shirmp in 3 different ways, talapia and all tasted good. Tried several other items and all very good, but never made it to the desert section or grill. Restaurant was about 80% full for a Saturday night and should have be much higher due to the assortment of good food and great prices. Some reviews may have discouraged people from eating there and understandably so. Waitresses were all very friendly with smiling faces. Will definitely visit again. The only suggestions I would make to the owners are: 1.) Beer & wine menu should always be provided without asking and prices should be shown on menu. 2.) Add ambiance by decreasing the starkness. 3.) Reduce the bright lights with dimmer. 3.) Paint the ceiling a darker color to reduce the appearance of its height and make the area cozier. 4.) Do something with the stark walls. And doing those things will make the restaurant a very comfortable and cozy restaurant and attract more customers.

Giving this review so that others know the honest truth. DONOT eat here!!! We went here after 4pm on Wednesday thinking that there would be crab legs. there is no posting stating that it is only Friday — Sunday. That was the first issue. The food is not good. There is not a variety at all and assuming since it is a weekday they dont like to make sure what is on the buffet is fresh. The food was not of great quality, minimal and cold. The hibachi was meeehhhhh… I don’t like that they have fresh eggs on the counter and they are very warm. They should have them in ice since they are sitting out for a while. This restaurant should not be called a buffet. I was VERYDISAPPOINTED and will not return or tell anyone to go there. I remember seeing a post stating that they were trying to get things going as they were just opening. This restaurant has been opened long enough to know what people like and how to keep food hot and fresh. also a better variety. If you are going to be in the Daytona area try Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet… this is a REAL asian buffet. Imperial Asian Buffet needs to do better.

Went in at 4:45 and there were hardly any people there. The food was just a no. The general tso chicken had a soapy taste, the spring roll had so much spice in it I had to spit it in my napkin, and the lo mein was flavorless. There were really only 2 kids choices, pizza & fries, and the pizza was old and burned. Did not try the sushi or hibachi because I wanted to get out of there. I really don’t think this was just an off night and I won’t be taking a chance on going back.

This is your typical buffet. The food was good. The sushi was really good. The restaurant was clean. It was more people in than I would expect during lunch on a weekday. The service was good. Some of the food had been out for a while but it appeared they do put out new food often. The hibachi is a nice addition to the traditional buffet but I was too full to try it

This buffet is comparable to other Asian buffets in the Lutz/Wesley Chapel area, in fact its often hard to distinguish one from another when it comes to the quality and taste of the food. Here are some nuances — Décor is a little older than other buffets in the area, it could be that the restaurant is in a slightly more established area than others. But it could stand for a little revitalization. The food serving area is about the same as others who have free standing pre-made food served buffet style. The sushi area has a slightly smaller serving area and thus a smaller selection, but buffet sushi in general it seems has come a long way from yester-years where it was a big clump with an indiscernible amount of «fish». Here’s one notable mention, the crab rangoon… the quintessential«American» Chinese food staple is done right here when it’s served as an easily snackable wonton-like deep fried pouch of cream cheesy goodness. As opposed to giant triangle shape boomerang type monstrosity. One other thing to note… price-wise, its comparable to other places and may be on lower end of the pricing scale.

Had dinner there, first time since ichiban closed and I must say it was pretty good. The food seemed fresher and the sushi was definitely better than the old place. Clean and good service, how can you go wrong at these prices!

I’ve been here 3 different times and each time it has stunk. Look, I gave them THREEDIFFERENTTRIES throughout the year and each time I had regrets. Some of the food was burnt. The macaroni and cheese is just noodles in water with some cheese. The chicken was tough. Nothing really had much flavor to it except the pudding. That was really the only thing I liked. Oh, and the water they serve. Everybody I’ve spoken with about this buffet has said they don’t like it either. The service was good, don’t get me wrong. I just can’t stand the food. I LOVE Chinese food and Chinese buffets. I don’t want this to come off as bashing the restaurant, it’s just my honest review. I loved this establishment when the previous owners had control of it. Ichiban was one of my favorite places to go to. Imperial, not so much. I hope they step up their quality because I would love to enjoy my experience here for once.

Me and the husband stopped in here for dinner. I was a bit hesitant due to lack of reviews, but this place has only been open 2 months. The food was typical Chinese Buffett fare, with the sushi selection being the star. All of the sushi was prepared fresh with customization available per request. The service was great. They are quick to clear the tables and the establishment is kept very clean. We will definitely be back!

Good food! As far as buffets go, this one isn’t bad. I was pleasantly surprised. The hubby and I went for dinner on a Saturday. The place was packed but we did not have to wait for a table. The food was fresh. Nice variety of dishes(But stay away from the«sushi» and raw shell fish). Coconut shrimp are awesome! The service was great. Our table was promptly cleared of empty plates and our glasses were never empty. Yes, we will go there again!

My husband and I went today. We usually do not do buffets but decided to give it a try because there are not many restaurants in Land O Lakes area. People were nice. Food was good, and a huge variety. Loved the hibachi and sushi. For the price you can’t beat it. I certainly don’t understand those people that gave it 1 or 2 stars, nor did I see anything that was filthy or smelling like fish. I just believe some people are too judgmental.

Good little buffet. They didn’t have the usual fare though. No sesame chicken. No honey chicken and the general Tao’s was a bit odd. The rest of the food was quite tasty however. The ranging were flavorful as were the dim sum. The price for lunch was very reasonable, less than $ 7.00. I really liked the hibachi area, chicken and shrimp were the meat options and broccoli, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms and noodles for mixing.

Tried out the new Chinese buffet today and gotta say it was quite good. The key(trick) to this is for the quality to continue. Too many times I have experienced newly opened Chinese buffets open with a bang! Great product, friendly service, a clean restaurant, well prepared food, and then it’s slowly scaled back on all fronts in order to bleed out as much profit as possible. The next thing you know the place is closed and the cycle starts all over again. Lunch was a good value at @$ 6.49 per person. I wish them luck and hope they continue to keep a high level of quality in all facets of their business.

This buffet is just typical Chinese Buffet. This is a spot for all you can eat, and pretty cheap. It’s 7.99 at lunch time, so that’s a good deal. Can’t say I will be running back here anytime soon, but hey if you have a big group of people, this may be an alright choice. Everything you get at other buffets, you get here.

One person who reviewed this place and said he got a big whif of stinky strong fish. I will disagree with that. It smells like a typical Chinese Buffet, nothing more, nothing less. We were in the area, and figured we would go since it just opened last week, and we would be shopping in the area. They have a hibachi grill, sushi bar, fried items, typical Chinese dishes like chicken and broccoli and veggies, noodles, etc. They also have pizza, macaroni and cheese, fish, potatoes for the kids. They have a salad bar, soups, fruit, and desserts, and ice cream. Same type of place different day. Not horrible whatsoever, just standard and nothing out of the ordinary. Not too much seafood either.

New owners same location & type of business as before. Not a good 1st impression as we got hit in the nose with a very strong fishy smell. I like fish but not like this. Was not impressed with their dinner selection for the price. Again the smell was too pungent. Make your own decision.
