Beef ‘O’ Brady’s

Last night was my 2^nd visit to this location, & this time, we sat on the screened patio. It was loud. If I’d brought my kids when they were younger, this seating area would’ve been perfect, as the adjacent outside area had bean-​toss games & plenty of room for kids to run around. But my group was already seated when I arrived, & since we’d all had kids, none of us were terribly bothered.
Because one of the other ladies already had a yummy-​looking sangria, I ordered one, too. That 1^st one was good, w/​3 pieces of fruit, & the great taste of sangria. But my 2^nd tasted like watered-​down cranberry juice, with only 1 piece of fruit… almost like I’d ordered 2 different drinks.
As soon as I opened the menu, the Cheesy Bacon Pub Chips caught my eye, & I stopped looking. And that top layer was incredible! Unfortunately, the juicy bacon & cheesy goodness covered maybe a third of the potatoes on top, & underneath were just thin, dry potatoes. I’m no cook, but, a larger platter to spread out the potatoes before the cheese & bacon drizzling might have led to a better end mix. Just a thought.
Our server was attentive & kept everyone’s drinks coming as we liked. But the TVs on the patio went off before 10pm (on a Friday night), & the house lights came on just after 10. Our server brought our checks without our requesting them, so we felt like we were being rushed out so they could close that area. But really, this is Florida, & possibly the 3^rd night this fall w/​temps below 80 — what’s the hurry to close the patio? Oh, wait, we’re in Land O’Lakes. Even with that odd 2^nd sangria, I’d wanted to order a 3^rd drink, but since we’d already paid, none of us wanted to start a new tab. As this isn’t my neck-​of-​the-​woods, I didn’t check their hours, but the ladies I was with said they closed at 11pm on weekends, so I’m not sure why 4 drinking women were being rushed away, but whatev. I didn’t choose to eat here, & never would on my own, but I’m sure the girls will be back & so will I.

We’ve gone to this restaurant several times in the past few years and the menu continues to evolve.
They are a little noisy for us. It seems that it’s a great place for families. They did have a nice selection of craft beers that our group appreciated. Don’t go expecting a nice dining experience.

Staff is great I’m able to order off the kids menu with out an issue :) I wish there was more vegetarian/​vegan meals but I normally order the kids Mac and cheese or the mozzarella sticks lol! The a lot of the staff knows me and my family and they are excellent! :)

Every time we eat at Wilderness Lake Beef O Brady’s the server ALWAYS brings another beer without our ordering it. I get annoyed because I only ordered one drink. Tonight the server told us it is Management policy so they can increase the bill and most people just keep the drink and pay for it. We sent our unwanted and unordered drink back. I just wanted you all the be aware of this policy.

It’s your typical chain bar food. But they do have great wings. Large draft beer selection. Awesome bartenders! Michelle is the best, but they are all personable. We go often.

The food was good. However, I have gone in 3 or 4 times and there has never been someone up front to greet us. Then it takes so long to get seated we finally just went and sat down on our own. Eventually the server gets to our table and takes our orders but the turn around time for the food was very slow. We waited over an hour for food on a Friday night and I know Friday is a busy time but the place wasn’t that full. There were empty tables inside and out. Also, as we were waiting the waitress never came back by to check on our drinks. I had to track her down to find out what was taking our food so long and her answer was, «It’s Friday».

This place is BRUTAL. When it first opened, we went a couple of times and stopped because it had become a hangout for several people in our neighborhood… their kids ran wild in the place, and the owner just looked the other way. We never cared for the group of neighbors anyway, and certainly didn’t want to spend MORE time with them than we had to — so we started going to a GREAT BO’B’s location on 52 in Hudson, about 12 mins from Connerton/​Wilderness Preserve. HOWEVER, our kids go to LOL High School and their sports teams eat there often, so we wind up going from time to time. As others have mentioned, the service is often horrible and the owner seems content to just make sure his regulars are happy. The other night we went in to watch the the Sunday night NFL game, and we’ll never go again. The only folks in the place were drunk, LOL’s rednecks… loud, obnoxious and of course, on a first name, hand holding basis with the bartender. We couldn’t get her attention for anything, couldn’t get refills on our sodas and finally just gave up. And by the way, I’m cool with rednecks — I live in Land O’Lakes after all, but not cool with loud mouth, vulgar drunks in a local, family restaurant. The owner came in per usual, and chatted up the regulars who were there all day nursing drinks and being obnoxious, versus servicing us properly who were there getting dinner and dessert. I will never set foot in this Beef’s location again, unless there is a LOL’s High School function there. Average to below average food, TERRIBLE service and an awful local vibe. Joe D

Good food, questionable service. This beefs has 27 beers on tap. The service has not always been the best. I have been here several times. I personally feel like they are making an attempt to improve the service.

Horribly slow service. I live nearby and have really tried to give this place a chance. Last night was my final attempt.
My daughter and I waited 5 minutes to be seated, not because the place was busy, simply because nobody came to the front to greet/​seat us. Then our waitress didn’t take our drink order for about 10 minutes, then she didn’t come back for about 15 minutes to take our food order.
The food is ok but the poor service is the reason I will not be going back.

If your with your dog and want to eat don’t go here. Their outdoor seating is not dog friendly. I have been to many restaurants in Tampa that allow dogs but not this one.

food was great, but no service, our waitress’s boyfriend was there and she spent all our time there standing beside him, but we got a free floor show, as did the family with 3 kids under 12 sitting on the other side of the room, we got to watch as he ran his hands all over her arse, and up her torso to cup her breasts, another waitress tried to take care of us so we tipped her.
